    Abstract: In an antenna module on one printed circuit board, a first area where a plurality of antenna elements are positioned on a first surface, and a second area where a plurality of front end integrated circuits are independently positioned on a second surface, the opposite surface of the first surface, are provided, and a wire is provided in the second area to electrically couple some ports of a plurality of ports provided in a first front end integrated circuit to some ports of a plurality of ports provided in a second front end integrated circuit. The some ports provided in the first front end integrated circuit include a first port configured to output a first intermediate frequency signal, and a second port configured to input a second intermediate frequency signal.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a first antenna configured to process a first radio frequency (RF) signal within a first frequency band; a second antenna spaced apart from the first antenna configured to process a second RF within a second frequency band different from the first frequency band; a first radio frequency front end (RFFE) and a second RFFE configured to process a third RF signal within a third frequency band different from the first frequency band and the second frequency band; a communication processor electrically connected to the first switch and the second switch; and a memory operatively coupled to the communication processor and configured to store performance information having, at least, a first value indicating an efficiency of the first antenna when performing a first radio communication, and a second value indicating an efficiency of the second antenna when performing the first radio communication. The memory is configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the communication processor to transmit or receive a signal within at least one of the first frequency band, the second frequency band or the third frequency band, and select an antenna to support the first radio communication among the first antenna and the second antenna based on the performance information having the first value or the second value. The first RFFE and the second RFFE support the first radio communication within the third frequency band.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device and a method for efficiently detecting signals when signals of a plurality of frequency bands are simultaneously transmitted and/or received.
    An electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure includes: a processor, a plurality of couplers configured to detect signals of a plurality of frequency bands being simultaneously transmitted and/or received, a plurality of first switches connected to at least parts of the plurality of couplers and configured to adjust directions of the signals being detected, a plurality of second switches connected to the first switches and configured to block signals being output from the first switches, and a third switch connected to the plurality of second switches and configured to select one of the plurality of second switches, wherein the processor is configured to control the first switches, the second switches, and the third switch to detect one of the signals being simultaneously transmitted and/or received.

    Abstract: A portable communication device includes a processor positioned in a first printed circuit board; a communication circuit; and an antenna module. The antenna module includes a second printed circuit board; a first antenna and a second antenna positioned in the second printed circuit board; a first transmission-reception circuit positioned in the second printed circuit board. The first transmission-reception circuit comprises a power amplifier for amplifying a signal to be transmitted through the first antenna, and a first low noise amplifier for amplifying a signal received through the first antenna. The power amplifier forms a portion of a transmission path electrically connected with the communication circuit and the first antenna. The first low noise amplifier forms a portion of a first reception path electrically connected with the communication circuit and the first antenna. The transmission path or the first reception path in the first transmission-reception circuit is selectively provided by the communication circuit. The portable communication device also includes a first reception circuit positioned in the second printed circuit board, wherein the first reception circuit does not comprise a power amplifier for amplifying a signal to be transmitted through the second antenna, and comprises a second low noise amplifier for amplifying a signal received through the second antenna, the second low noise amplifier forming a portion of a second reception path electrically connected with the communication circuit and the second antenna.
