Abstract:
A lotion pump may include an upper one-way valve. The one-way valve may include an elastic tube and a valve seat. The valve seat is disposed on the connecting/guiding member or the nozzle head and has a closed top end and at least one opening provided on a side surface, and the elastic tube elastically covers the side surface of the valve seat. The one way valve may include an open state and a closed state. In the open state, the elastic tube expands to open the opening; and in the closed state, the elastic tube closes the opening. The lotion pump may be connected to a liquid container that is fixed to a fixture.
Abstract:
Bellow actuated pump devices for dispensing a product from a container may include a bellow and a base or a bellow, a base, and a valve wherein actuation of the bellow dispenses a product and the de-actuation of the bellow refills the pump for the next actuation.
Abstract:
A container includes a nozzle having rubber elasticity in a constriction part, and a lever for nipping the nozzle indirectly. The nozzle has a storage part, a base, and a valve. The storage part is provided in the constriction part, and is intercepted with the main body by contacting inner walls at the communicating part when the nozzle is nipped and flattened by the lever. The valve is opened when the internal pressure of the storage part exceeds predetermined pressure while operated state and spouts liquid in the storage part. The constriction part expands by being nipped with the lever until the internal pressure of the storage part reaches to predetermined pressure. Liquid in the storage part is jetted since the constriction part shrinks by the rubber elasticity when the valve is released.
Abstract:
A spout valve assembly, for a pump dispenser including a discharge head, is located within an opening in the discharge head for permitting outletting of liquid product and includes a spout valve retained within the discharge head opening by a retainer. The spout valve includes a slit at a first end thereof and an orifice at a second opposite end thereof. The slit includes slit lips directly engageable with and disengageable from each other to respectively define slit closed and opened configurations. The spout valve is made of a material for permitting opening of the slit under pressure from the liquid product for thereby allowing the liquid product to be discharged out through the slit when in the slit opened configuration, and for otherwise permitting closing of the slit to prevent the liquid product from being discharged through the slit when in the slit closed configuration.
Abstract:
A pump assembly in the context of a piston pump having a piston carrying a disk which extends radially outwardly to engage a wall of a chamber to substantially prevent fluid flow in one direction and yet permit deflection of the disk away from the wall of the chamber to permit flow in the other direction; the improvement in which two or more of similar such disks are provided spaced axially adjacent one another.
Abstract:
An ophthalmic delivery device includes a body defining a fluid reservoir and a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir. The delivery device also includes a nozzle that includes a dosage chamber for holding a dosage of fluid, a valve seat, and a valve cover. The valve cover extends about the valve seat and forms an interface therebetween and the valve seat includes an outlet aperture. The interface is in fluid communication with the outlet aperture and the dosage chamber, and at least part of the valve cover is movable between (i) a closed position with the valve cover engaging the valve seat to close the interface and form a fluid-tight seal therebetween, and (ii) an open position with at least part of the valve cover spaced away from the valve seat in response to fluid flowing through the outlet aperture at a pressure greater than a valve opening pressure to allow the passage of pressurized fluid therebetween. The valve seat and the valve cover are dimensioned to dispense the dosage of fluid through the interface at a velocity of equal to or less than 6 meters per second.
Abstract:
A nozzle arrangement adapted to be fitted to a pressurized vessel and to permit fluid to be dispensed through it under pressure, is presented. The nozzle arrangement includes a body having an inlet, an outlet, an internal fluid flow passageway through which fluid can flow from the inlet to the outlet, and an actuator portion adapted, upon operation, to engage and open an outlet valve of the pressurized vessel. The nozzle arrangement further includes a resiliently deformable wall member that undergoes a resilient deformation from an initial resiliently-biased configuration to a distended configuration in response to the operation of the actuator portion, and to revert to the initial resiliently-biased configuration when the operation of the actuator portion has ceased and cause any fluid remaining in the passageway to be expelled.
Abstract:
An airless dispensing pump container with an airtight nozzle head of a push down type capable of discharging a fixed amount of content is disclosed, in which a vacuum sealing function is enhanced in the whole structure of the present invention, and a content opening and closing plate of a content opening and closing valve member in the construction of a content discharge part of a nozzle head is automatically opened and closed, along with a reliable discharge of the content, and a reverse flow and leakage are prevented by improving a structure of a content pump piston which sucks and transfers the content. When a pump cylinder is slanted at a certain angle along with the content storing container or in case of a content having high viscosity, it is possible to improve the operation errors of the ball valve by providing an inventive structure of the ball valve support installed at a lower side of the stem.
Abstract:
A dispenser for dispensing a substance has a body defining a variable-volume storage chamber for storing the substance, and a dispensing portion connected with the body and defining a dosage chamber coupled in fluid communication with the storage chamber for receiving substance therefrom, and an outlet aperture coupled in fluid communication with the dosage chamber. A first valve includes an axially-extending valve seat and an axially-extending flexible valve cover seated on the valve seat and defining a normally-closed, axially-extending seam therebetween forming a fluid-tight seal between the valve cover and valve seat. The flexible valve cover is movable relative to the valve seat and the seam is connectable in fluid communication with the outlet aperture to allow the passage of substance through the seam and out of the dispenser. A second valve is coupled in fluid communication between the dosage chamber and the storage chamber for allowing the flow of substance from the storage chamber into the dosage chamber and substantially preventing the flow of substance from the dosage chamber into the storage chamber. A manually-engageable, elastic actuator is mounted on the dispensing portion in fluid communication with the dosage chamber and is manually movable between (i) a first non-actuated position, and (ii) a second actuated position extending into the dosage chamber for compressing a dose of substance within the dosage chamber and, in turn, dispensing the substance through the first valve. The elasticity of the manually-engageable actuator causes the actuator to return from the second actuated position to the first non-actuated position upon manually releasing the actuator.
