Abstract:
A robotic container reorganizer has a robot arm that holds a robotic tool. The robotic tool can reconfigure a plurality of articles from a first configuration to a second configuration. The robotic arm may pick up a collection of articles in a first configuration with the robotic tool, and may reconfigure the articles with the robotic tool into a second configuration. The second configuration of articles may be set down after reconfiguration. The first configuration of articles has a first width and a first length, and the second configuration has a second length and a second width. The first width and the first length of the first configuration differ from the second width and the second length of the second configuration.
Abstract:
A rotary-type bag transfer device including a plurality of pairs of left and right grippers (2) provided around an intermittently rotating table (1). A first support shaft (8) and a second support shaft (9) are provided on the base portion of each of the arms (5) of the grippers. A first link (14) linked at its one end to the table and pivotable horizontally is linked at another end thereof to the center of a second link (15), the second link is linked at one end thereof to the first support shaft, and a sliding member (21) installed at the other end of the second link is provided to slide in a slot (22) formed in the table. The slot is parallel to a reference plane (N). A restricting link (24) linked at one end to the table is linked at another end to the second support shaft.
Abstract:
A system and method for stacking two bulk bags one on top of the other on a pallet, the method comprising controlling a pallet feeder into providing a pallet; filling a first bag with a first amount of product on the pallet and sealing the first bag; filling a second bag with a second amount of product, and depositing the second bag filled with the second amount of product on top of the first bag on the pallet; and straightening the bags on the pallet; wherein these steps of controlling, filling the first and second bags, and straightening are controlled by a programmable controller, the programmable controller selecting the first amount to be fed to the first bag supported by the pallet and, selecting the second amount to be fed to the second bag.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to machines and apparatuses for manufacturing and filling containers, specifically to machines and apparatus for transporting flexible pouches between manufacturing and filling stations with the ability to open and close the flexible pouch. The apparatus includes a movable base with a pair of side arms. Each of the side arms is movable between a first position and a second position. A center arm is attached to the base. The center arm is disposed between the pair of side arms. A gripping mechanism is disposed at an end portion of each of the side arms and the center arm. The pouches are moved between production stations by movement of the base. The present disclosure also includes a method for opening, closing, and moving a flexible pouch between one or more production stations.
Abstract:
A machine and method for filling a container is provided. The container has a fitment. The fitment includes a spout having a collar. The collar includes a support surface for supporting the container in suspension. The machine includes a filling apparatus configured to fill the container with a product, a rail system, a loader, and a carrier. The carrier is configured to hold multiple containers. The carrier is generally elongated and has a pair of spaced apart flanges. The spaced apart flanges define a slot extending the length of the carrier. The slot is configured to slidingly receive the spout of the container and the support surface of the collar engages each of the pair of flanges so as to suspend the container within the carrier. The carrier may be placed into communication with the rail system so as to feed the containers to the filling apparatus.

Abstract:
Assembly and method for collecting together different goods to form a pack and to pack these in an outer packaging. Streams of goods are always fed to a collection conveyor with feed conveyors. Each stream consists of the same goods and these are buffered at the discharge end of the feed conveyor. At a suitable point in time these are placed on the collection conveyor using an ejection device. The collection conveyor consists of a number of track compartments that move past the conveyor. A group of goods placed one after the other is arranged in each track compartment, which group is ultimately compacted to give a pack.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to a parcel sortation system and is specifically disclosed in connection with a customizable scalable sorting system and method for sorting parcels. The sortation system and method for sorting parcels are include an induction station wherein data particular to the parcel regarding its desired parcel destination is received by a controller and communicated by the controller to the sortation system, as the parcel continues to a sorting station, where the parcel is sorted as instructed by the controller, and if not sorted then is collected at the end station, terminating the sorting of the parcel.
Abstract:
A conveyor apparatus includes first and second groups of fins which are spaced along the conveying direction to provide spaces sufficient to hold packs therein. The fins in each group are divided into first and second sets. The first and second fin groups are mounted to first and second conveyor chain pairs, respectively, and moved through pack loading and unloading stations. Stepping motors drive the first and second chain pairs independently. A controller causes a fin set after being loaded or unloaded to be forwarded to the unloading or loading station at a speed higher than the speed at which the fin sets move through the loading station.
Abstract:
Equipment for feeding product groups to a conveyor for their packaging, wherein the groups of products (13), previously divided and spaced, must be transferred on and phased with said conveyor (12) characterized in that it comprises a transport unit (15) that can be moved in the direction of said conveyor (12) and lowered and lifted towards the same, said transport unit (15) receiving said divided and spaced product groups (13) and releasing them on belts (45) that continuously advance in the direction of a pusher tug conveyor (40, 41) associated to them and being part of said conveyor (12), said belts (45) being arranged according to a closed ring and releasing said product groups (13) on said pusher tug conveyor (40, 41) to one of their ends, motor means (43, 25) of said pusher tug conveyor (40, 41), of said belts (45) and of said transport unit (15) being controllable in phase by means of a common processor (49).
