Abstract:
A first portion and a second portion cooperate to define an opening. Guide structures are in engagement with bracket assemblies so that the bracket assemblies are movable with respect to the guide structures to allow movement of a panel between a closed position and an open position. A stabilizer engages the panel in the open position. In some implementations, the panel may be flush relative to the first portion and/or the second portion in the closed position.
Abstract:
A vehicle door is disclosed that has a movable window and a window regulator including a regulator rail and a regulator slider slidably mounted on the regulator rail and engaging the window for movement between a closed position and a fully open position. The door also has a window down stop stabilizer assembly including a position detecting assembly that detects when the window is in the fully open position, a bumper movable between a first position spaced from the window and a second position in contact with the window, and a bumper actuator that moves the bumper into and out of contact with the window. When the window is in the fully open position, the bumper actuator will move the bumper into the second position and when the window is not in the fully open position, the bumper actuator will move the bumper into the first position.
Abstract:
A window pane for a motor vehicle including plastic for closing a pane opening of a motor vehicle and which is moveable with a window lifter out of the pane opening includes a pane element enclosed by an outer edge and a device provided on the pane element for coupling the window pane to an adjusting mechanism of the window lifter. For coupling the window pane to the adjusting mechanism of the window lifter, a guide region is formed on a surface of the pane element via which the window pane is engageable with a guide device of the adjusting mechanism, displaceable in a direction of adjustment. The guide region forms at least one stop, which counteracts a pivoting of the window pane about an axis extending perpendicular to a plane of the window pane.
Abstract:
A stabilizer clip for a window assembly clip includes a clip body having a generally U-shaped profile. The clip body is preferably sized to be retained in a windowpane run channel assembly. The clip body defines a groove between opposed side walls for slidably receiving an edge of a windowpane. A plurality of pads extends outwardly from the walls. The pads are adapted to slidably engage the windowpane. When the clip body is retained in the windowpane run channel assembly by a mounting means and the windowpane is in an extended position, the pads engage with the windowpane to prevent lateral movement of the windowpane relative to the windowpane run channel assembly.

Abstract:
A lower sash installed inside a door panel of, for instance, the door of an automobile so as to guide and hold window glass that is accommodated inside the door panel, the lower sash having a structure in which the sash has a channel shape in cross section comprising an outer-panel-side outer wing and an inner-panel-side inner wing formed as an integral part on either side of a frame plate, truss-form openings are formed in the frame plate, glass guides, which are elastic projections and respectively face the outer wing and inner wing, are arranged in an alternating manner so as to positionally correspond to the truss-form openings, and the wall thickness of the outer wing or inner wing is made thicker at a lower panel attachment end than the upper door sash end; and these elements are molded into an integral plastic unit.
Abstract:
Rotary locks used on transit vehicle doors when opened and closed by a rotating helical door drive member. In a preferred embodiment, a first lock utilizes a negative thread portion of the helical drive. A second lock utilizes a rotating lock pawl and stop. The drive and lock can be used to operate door systems with and without separate door hangers. Compensation for camber variations in car structure is provided through the use of spherical mounts or drive member journals.
Abstract:
A window regulator apparatus includes a guide rail fixed within a vehicle door, a bracket including a window mounted on the guide rail, a driving mechanism fixed within the door for moving the window up and down the guide rail, and a resilient member mounted on the guide rail for preventing the guide rail and window glass from contacting and thereby preventing the window glass from being damaged.
Abstract:
A guide rail assembly of a window regulator is in the form of unit and consists of a pair of parallel guide rails and a plurality of beams extending between the guide rails to interconnect the same. A glass stabilizer for stabilizing a window pane is installed on one of the beams.
