Abstract: A quick connector includes a male base and a female base, wherein the male base has a first tube body, an annular clamping groove arranged outside the first tube body, a first flow channel axially penetrating through the first tube body, a plug body slidably arranged in the first flow channel, and an elastic member for pushing the plug body to close the first flow channel. The female base includes a second tube body, a second flow channel which axially penetrates through the second tube body and into which the first tube body is inserted, an annular fastener provided in the second flow channel, and a push rod fixed on the second flow channel and oriented towards the plug body.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for an improved safety cam lock fitting having side by side double cam levers having outer and inner portions so that when the outer cam levers are opened and the inner cam lever remain closed, the male and female portions of the cam lock fitting only slightly separate from each other allowing the operator to quickly reclose the cam lock fitting if the operator observes that the cam lock fitting still contains pressurized material. This is accomplished by providing a larger cam lobe on the outer cam lever and a smaller cam lobe on the inner cam lever so that when the smaller cam lobe is in a closed position and protrudes into a peripheral groove on the male portion the male and female ends have a small space therein between. A lever latching mechanism may be used to prevent the cam levers from being inadvertently opened.

Abstract: A quick connect coupling includes a hollow female connector body, a male end form configured to be received in the female connector body, a retainer, and a verifier coupled. An entry end of the female connector body defines a pair of windows on opposite sides of the entry end. The retainer extends along the windows and into a bore of the female connector body. The verifier includes legs and feet that extend into the windows and into the bore. The windows define a ramped edge, and the retainer is forced against the ramped edge by an annular upset of the male end form. The retainer spreads outward and springs back after the upset clears the retainer. The feet of the verifier include a ramped surface and spread outward in response to a force applied by the upset. The verifier can be pushed down after the legs are spread apart.

Abstract: A plug connector including a coupling part with a receiving opening into which a plug part, having a plug shaft with a collar, can be inserted. The plug connector also includes a resilient, radially slotted retaining clip having at least two spring arms and which can be pre-assembled on the coupling part and moved radially between an insertion position and a holding position for the plug part. The plug part can be inserted into the receiving opening when the retaining clip is in the insertion position, and when in the holding position the plugged-in plug part, and the collar thereof, can be blocked by the retaining clip against being pulled out. In the insertion position, the retaining clip projects with respect to the outer circumference of the coupling part, and in the holding position the retaining clip is flush with the outer circumference of the coupling part.
