It is an object of the present invention to provide a light source unit enabling cost reduction. A light source unit of the present invention includes a plurality of LEDs 16, and an elongated LED board 17 having a plurality of arranging portions 18 on which each LED 16 is arranged, and a plurality of connecting portions 19 connecting the adjacent arranging portions 18. Each connecting portion 19 has a width smaller than a width of each arranging portion 18 in a short direction of the LED board 17.
Abstract:
A backlight module including a back frame, a light guiding plate received in the back frame, and a position piece is disclosed. The position piece is arranged between the back frame and the light guiding plate, and the position piece is detachably fixed on sidewalls of the back frame to firmly press the light guiding plate within the back frame. In addition, a liquid crystal display with the backlight module is also disclosed. The light guiding plate is reliably positioned by adopting the above position piece.

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a backlight unit, a mold frame, a bottom bracket, a top mold, and first and second coupling members. The display panel includes a display surface on which an image is displayed. The backlight unit generates and provides a light to the display panel. The mold frame supports the display panel and the backlight unit. The bottom bracket accommodates the display panel, the backlight unit and the mold frame. The top mold faces the bottom bracket and overlaps a portion of the display panel, and the display panel is between the top mold and the bottom bracket. The first coupling member couples the mold frame with the top mold, and the second coupling member couples the top mold with the bottom bracket.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a fixing structure thereof are disclosed. The LCD device comprises a backlight unit and an LCD panel. The backlight unit is fixed through a first frame disposed at a side edge thereof, and the LCD panel is fixed through a second frame disposed at side edges thereof. The first frame is provided with a snap-fitting groove mechanism, and the second frame is provided with a snap-fitting mechanism for mating with the snap-fitting groove mechanism to fix the LCD panel. Because the second frame is joined with the first frame through snap-fitting in the LCD device and the fixing structure thereof of the present disclosure, it is unnecessary to use screws for fixing purpose. This makes the assembling process simple, efficient and time-saving, so the production efficiency of the LCD device is increased and the production cost is reduced.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device, which includes a front frame and a plastic frame. The plastic frame forms a receiving space. The front frame is received in the receiving space. The plastic frame includes first resilient elements and second resilient elements. The first resilient elements and the second resilient elements resiliently clamp and retain an edge of the front frame. The present invention also provides a plastic frame of liquid crystal display device. With the above arrangement, the liquid crystal display device and the plastic frame thereof use the first resilient elements and the second resilient elements of the plastic frame to clamp an edge of the front frame so as to simplify an assembling operation of the liquid crystal display device, improve manufacturing efficiency, and saving material of the front frame, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of the liquid crystal display device.

The present invention provides a connection structure for panel and frame and holding member thereof. The connection structure includes a panel and a frame supporting the panel. The panel and the frame use a plurality of holding members to fix and hold. The holding member includes a presser and a connection part extending from one side of the presser. The connection part includes a first extension part and a second extension part. The first extension part and the second extension part connect a corresponding connection element on the side of the frame. As such, the present invention saves the front frame and fixes a liquid crystal panel and a frame of a liquid crystal module to reduce the transportation risk, protect the liquid crystal panel from damage, simplify the overall assembly structure of the liquid crystal module and reduce the assembly cost.

The present invention discloses a front case for assembling with a display module of an LCD device, and the front case is a hollow shell body formed by four side plates, the front case comprising: an inner baffle plate and an outer baffle plate mutually parallel and perpendicularly extended from both sides of each of the side plates, and the inner baffle plate and the outer baffle plate are disposed at the same surface of the front case; multiple hooks disposed on one of the side plates for fixing to the display module; and multiple compensation plates disposed at the inner baffle plate corresponding to the side plate having the hooks for compensating a curve bending caused by assembly of the hooks and the display module so that a contact surface between the front case and a display panel of the display module is flat. The present invention also provides an LCD device using the above front case. According to the present invention, it can maintain the flatness of the edge of the front case, reducing appearance deformation of the front case of the television after assembly, and reducing the gap between the front case and the display panel of the display module.

The present invention provides a backlight module, which includes a backplane, a backlight source arranged inside the backplane, a reflector plate arranged inside the backplane, a light guide plate arranged on the reflector plate, and a mold frame mounted to the backplane. The backplane forms a pawl section. The mold frame forms a retention slot corresponding to the pawl section. The pawl section is receivable in and retained by the retention slot so as to fix the mold frame to the backplane. The backlight module uses a pawl section formed on the backplane and a retention slot formed on the mold frame to engage the pawl section so as to mount the mold frame to the backplane through snap-fitting connection thereby showing a simple structure, being easy to assemble and disassemble, effectively saving time, and thus controlling the cost.

The present invention provides a slim bezel liquid crystal display device, which includes a rear enclosure, a front enclosure mating the rear enclosure, and a liquid crystal display module arranged inside the rear enclosure. The rear enclosure forms a retention plate. The retention plate functions to retain a lower end of the liquid crystal display module so as to fix the liquid crystal display module in the rear enclosure. The slim bezel liquid crystal display device uses an inverted L-shaped retention plate mounted at a lower end portion of a rear enclosure to retain a liquid crystal display module in position so as to fix the liquid crystal display module in the rear enclosure. The structure is simple and assembling is easy so as to effectively achieve bezel slimming and device thinning of a liquid crystal display device.
