Abstract: To improve efficiency of road surveillance, a road surveillance system includes a detection unit 122 and a processing unit 134. The detection unit 122 detects a road state being a state of an object on a road by processing an image in which the road is captured. The processing unit 134 performs, when the road state satisfies a first criterion, any of notification processing of making a notification of the road state that satisfies the first criterion according to notification setting related to the notification, and change-related processing related to a change in the notification setting, based on whether a second criterion is satisfied. The second criterion is a criterion related to a determination result of whether the road state satisfies the first criterion.

Abstract: A system for providing situational awareness to a cyclist or other user of a micromobility vehicle comprises a stereo camera assembly and processing logic configured to determine, based on images acquired by the stereo camera assembly, a distance between the cyclist and an object of interest (e.g., a vehicle). The system is configured to determine a threat level of the object based one or more factors such as, e.g., a speed of the object and/or a category of the object. In some examples, the system includes a display and/or an audio indicator to convey information to the cyclist about detected threats. In some examples, the system is configured to produce an audio indication in response to a threat exceeding a threshold threat level. A software platform may be configured to store and/or process micromobility data gathered from one or more users.

Abstract: A vehicle state detection system includes an vehicle positioning unit, an object detection unit, and an evaluation unit. The vehicle positioning unit has a rotatable platform and a platform position detection unit. The object detection unit includes two individual detection systems which each have a detection area. A positioning unit defines a positional relation of the individual detection systems to one another. The two individual detection systems detect object data of object points of the vehicle and provide the object data the evaluation unit. The evaluation unit includes respective evaluation modules for each of the at least two individual detection systems, an overall evaluation module and a generation module.

The method comprises predicting, using the driving model, a predicted movement pattern of the second vehicle within the driving scenario; and based on the predicted movement pattern of the second vehicle, generating a movement pattern for the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: A method for intelligently measuring vehicle speed based on a binocular stereo vision system includes: training a Single Shot Multibox Detector neural network to obtain a license plate recognition model; calibrating the binocular stereo vision system to acquire parameters of two cameras; detecting the license plates in the captured video frames with the license plate recognition model, locating the license plate position; performing feature point extraction and stereo matching by a feature-based matching algorithm; screening and eliminating the matching point pairs, and reserving the coordinates of the matching point pair closest to the license plate center; performing stereo measurement on the screened matching point pair to get the spatial coordinates of the position; calculating and obtaining the speed of the target vehicle. The present invention is easy to install and adjust, could simultaneously recognize multiple trained features automatically, and better suit the intelligent transportation networks and IoT (Internet of Things).
