An information processing device may receive first communication device identification information for identifying a first communication device that can be communicated using a first wireless communication interface. The information processing device may receive second communication device identification information for identifying a second communication device that can be communicated using a second wireless communication interface. The information processing device may display, on a display unit, a first image indicating the first communication device. The information processing device may display a second image indicating the second communication device identified by the received second communication device identification information. The displaying of the second image may be performed only in a case that particular information has not been received. The particular information may indicate that the second communication device identified by the received second communication device identification information can be communicated using the first wireless communication interface.

An image capturing apparatus having a plurality of communication modes comprises an image capturing unit adapted to capture an object image and obtain image data, and a control unit adapted to control the image capturing apparatus, wherein the plurality of communication modes include a host mode in which the image capturing apparatus is able to communicate with a plurality of external devices and a client mode in which the image capturing apparatus is disable to simultaneously communicate with the plurality of external devices, and wherein the control unit is able to automatically switch the image capturing apparatus to the host mode after an image capturing instruction is applied to the image capturing unit.

In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal receives a selection of an image data among plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the mobile terminal and prints an image based on the selected image data. A communication between the mobile terminal and the image forming apparatus is performed wirelessly with an IEEE 802.11 standard. The image forming apparatus continuously performs a second printing, when the receiving section receives a selected image data again in a condition that the communication with the mobile terminal is continuously established by the receiving section after the printing of the received image data is finished.

In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to a mobile terminal. An image processing apparatus includes an input unit that inputs a command, a wireless interface unit that wirelessly exchanges data with an image forming apparatus in a direct manner, a transmission/reception control unit that controls an operation of the wireless interface unit, and a program processing unit that performs an installation process of a program. The transmission/reception control unit causes the wireless interface unit to receive a driver module from the image forming apparatus. The program processing unit performs an installation process of the driver module received by the wireless interface unit.

A hand-held device provided with a display section including a position identifying section for identifying the position of a hand-held device; an orientation identifying section for identifying an orientation of the hand-held device; and a control section that specifies a prescribed managed apparatus located within a prescribed range of distance from a hand-held device and in a specific direction of the hand-held device, based on the pre-stored position information on one or plural managed apparatuses, and acquires the status information showing the status of the aforementioned prescribed managed apparatus to display this status information on the display section. Further, an image pick-up section is provided to capture an image in the specific direction. The control section controls the display section to display an image formed by superimposing the aforementioned status information onto the image of the prescribed managed apparatus captured by the image pick-up section.

A communication system and a communication method for permitting a user of a cell-phone to receive data in a non-service area via an MFP. When the communication condition between a base station and a cell-phone becomes bad, the base station sends a map showing the current position of the cell-phone and the locations of nearby MFPs to the cell-phone. The user of the cell-phone selects one from the MFPs on the map and notifies the base station of the selected MFP. The base station sends an e-mail addressed to the cell-phone to the selected MFP, and the MFP stores the e-mail therein. The user of the cell-phone makes an access to the MFP by short-distance wireless communication to receive the e-mail.

After a digital multi-function peripheral establishes a connection with a mobile phone once, it rejects connection establishment requests made to a wireless communication section by other devices. Moreover, after a connection is established with a mobile phone once, the digital multi-function peripheral stops sending of the address of the wireless communication section through a reader/writer. After completing the sending/receiving of data, the digital multi-function peripheral and the mobile phone delete the addresses of their partner devices stored in them, respectively, for use in sending/receiving data.
