Abstract: The invention relates to a device for pressing out a material from a deformable tube, comprising the following: a housing having a base end; an upper section opposite the base end; and lateral wall sections between the base end and the upper section; a squeezer that can be introduced into the housing, wherein the squeezer has a carrier element and two opposing jaws for gripping and squeezing out a material from the tube, wherein the housing has an opening in the upper section through which an outlet of the tube can be guided, and same has openings in opposing parts of the lateral wall sections via which the jaws can be actuated, wherein the jaws are secured to the carrier element at one end and the squeezer also has a manual lever element on at least one jaw, wherein the lever element is connected to the jaw in a connection region to form an assembly, in which a pressure manually applied to the lever element brings about a force on the jaw in the direction of the other jaw, wherein the lever element has a body with reinforcing ribs, wherein the reinforcing ribs are surrounded at least partially by a closed outer skin, wherein a region of the outer skin forms a gripping region.

Abstract: A dispensing closure for dispensing a flowable product from a squeeze-type product container includes a closure body having an upper deck, an exit orifice, and a skirt configured to attach to the product container. A measuring reservoir is received in engagement with a lower surface of the upper deck. The measuring reservoir is filled with a measured dose of flowable product through flow ports when the container is inverted. A piston valve is slidably movable within the measuring reservoir between an open position and a closed position. The piston valve is movable from the open position to the closed position to dispense the measured dose of product responsive to pressure within the container induced by squeezing.

Abstract: A mixing and dispensing apparatus having first and second containers. The first container has a main body portion which retains a first substance. A separate compartment is located in the first container and an internal passageway is formed between the main body portion and the compartment. The second container is configured to retain a second substance, and is compressible. The second container has a top end and a closed spout, wherein the closed spout is located in the compartment with the spout extending through the internal passageway into the main body portion of said first container. A release mechanism is formed by a plunger extending within the second container. The plunger has a first end in communication with the top end of the second container, and a second end aligned with the closed spout. The second end opens the closed spout when the second container is compressed to release the second substance into the main body portion of the first container.

Abstract: An orientation independent delivery device. The delivery device includes a gas chamber, a delivery chamber, a gas cell, and a delivery aperture. The gas chamber includes a gas-side rigid portion and a gas-side flexible barrier. The gas-side flexible barrier is sealed to the gas-side rigid portion. The delivery chamber includes a delivery-side rigid portion and a delivery-side flexible barrier. The delivery-side flexible barrier is sealed to the delivery-side rigid portion and is oriented adjacent to the gas-side flexible barrier. The gas cell is coupled to the gas-side rigid portion of the gas chamber. The gas cell increases a gas pressure within the gas chamber to expand the gas-side flexible barrier. Expansion of the gas-side flexible barrier applies a compressive force to the delivery-side flexible barrier allowing a delivery material to escape from the delivery chamber.

Abstract: A container for viscous liquid is revealed. A first cover set with a one-way valve and a second cover arranged with a flow control valve are disposed on two ends of a main body of the container respectively. The first cover is suspended on a supporting member. Thereby a force is applied to the main body for pouring out viscous liquid such as caramel. Thus caramel pushes against a dome of the one-way valve and a gap on the dome is opened to make the caramel out. Once no force is applied, external air flows through a gap between the flow control valve and the second cover to push a flexible piece of the flow control valve and enter the main body. Thus both the main body and the dome of the one-way valve return back to the original shape. Thereby the caramel can be handled easily.
