    Abstract: A piston hydraulic device comprises a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder assemblies and is rotatable about a first rotation axis. Each cylinder assembly comprises a cylinder and a piston. A port plate has a first port and a second port that are angularly spaced relative to the first rotation axis. A plurality of first conduits connect respective cylinders alternately to the first port or the second port. At least one second conduit is connected to a fluid reservoir. At least one directional control valve is positioned in the first conduit and fluidly connects to the second conduit. The at least one directional control valve connects the cylinder to the port plate in a first position and to the fluid reservoir in a second position. A controller is operatively associated with the directional control valve for switching between the first and the second positions.

    Abstract: The present document relates to a hydraulic system having a first hydraulic pump, a second hydraulic pump, at least one hydraulic actuator, a low-pressure tank, and a pressure controlled flow compensating valve. A high-pressure port of the first hydraulic pump and a high-pressure port of the second hydraulic pump are fluidly connected or fluidly connectable to the at least one hydraulic actuator. The high-pressure port of the second hydraulic pump is selectively fluidly connectable to the low-pressure tank via the flow compensating valve. The flow compensating valve is controllable by or based on one or more of: a hydraulic pressure provided by the first hydraulic pump, a hydraulic pressure provided by the second hydraulic pump, and a hydraulic pressure at a fluid port of the at least one hydraulic actuator.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for hydraulic vehicle suspension are provided. A hydraulic suspension system, in one example, includes a first manifold including a piston-side interface and a rod-side interface fluidically coupled to a piston chamber and a rod chamber, respectively, for each of a first hydraulic cylinder and a second hydraulic cylinder. In the system, the first manifold includes a first electrically activated valve fluidically coupled to the piston-side interfaces, a first damping device, and a second damping device, the first electrically activated valve is configured to lock and unlock vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders and, while vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders is locked, the first electrically activated valve permits fluidic communication between the first and second hydraulic cylinders to permit free roll motion in the hydraulic suspension system.

    Abstract: A logic valve for management of a hydraulic actuator comprising: a valve body with a hollow seat which extends along a work direction and communicates with a first port adapted for receiving a pressurized working fluid, a second port adapted for fluidly coupling with an operating chamber of the hydraulic actuator, and a third port adapted for discharging the working fluid; a slider within the hollow seat movable along the work direction; and a spring between the valve body and the slider and oriented to act on the slider along the work direction in the direction away from said third port, wherein the slider is movable between a first operating configuration fluidly coupling the second and third ports and excluding fluid communication between them and the first port, and a second operating configuration fluidly coupling the first and second ports and excluding fluid communication between them and the third port.
