Abstract:
A stacked expansion card assembly is positioned on a mainboard. The mainboard includes a mainboard connector. The stacked expansion card assembly includes a first expansion card, at least one first supporting member, and a first connector. The first card includes a contact card end and electrically connected with the mainboard connector by inserting the contact end of the first expansion card to the mainboard connector. The first supporting member is positioned on the mainboard and supports the first expansion card. The first connector is positioned on the first expansion card and electrically connected or disconnected with a second expansion card by removable insertion of the second expansion card to the first connector. Thereby, the expansion cards can be installed onto the mainboard without increasing the surface area of the mainboard and limited by the layout of the electronic components on the mainboard.
Abstract:
A stud used to support a circuit board on a case, the case has a tapped hole, and the circuit board has a locating hole. The stud includes a main body. The main body includes a screw thread portion and a carrying surface, wherein the main body is fixed to the tapped hole of the case by the screw thread portion, and the carrying surface withstands the circuit board, the carrying surface has an opening and a tooling groove, the opening is corresponding to the locating hole of the circuit board. A hand tool is inserting into the tooling groove of main body, and the shape of the hand tool corresponds to the shape of the tooling groove, so that the main body is able to be fixed to the case or detached from the case by the hand tool.
Abstract:
A computer case includes a first sidewall, a plurality of peripheral walls, a retractable fence, and a second sidewall. One side of each of the peripheral walls connects with the first sidewall in a surrounding manner; one end of the retractable fence is disposed to the other side of each of the peripheral walls. The retractable fence is able to reciprocate along an extending direction of the peripheral walls. Besides, the second sidewall connects with the other end of the retractable fence in a surrounding manner. An inner space of the computer case is selectively increased or decreased by the reciprocating of the retractable fence for replacing a cooling module or an electronic component with different width.
Abstract:
A remote backup system includes a first computer and a cloud server. The first computer has at least a control unit. When the first computer is actuated to execute a shutdown procedure, the control unit commands an operating system program and/or an application program to record an executing status and an executed file and to generate a corresponding backup file, and the control unit transmits the backup file to the cloud server and saves it. When the first computer is booted again and executes a start procedure, the control unit transmits a command signal to the cloud server, the cloud server returns the backup file to the control unit, and the control unit receives and loads the backup file to restore the operating system program and/or the application program to the system status before the shutdown procedure.
Abstract:
An electronic device having updatable BIOS is used to perform a BIOS updating method. The electronic device electrically connects to a server, in which update data is stored. The electronic device includes a Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), a network connection module and a switch. A BIOS program is stored in the BIOS, and a connecting program is stored in the network connection module for connecting to the server. When the electronic device is updating, the BIOS switches to electrically connect to the network connection module via the switch, and the network connection module connects to the server by executing the connecting program, downloads the update data applying to the BIOS, and overwrites the update data to the BIOS to update the BIOS program.
Abstract:
A headphone device includes a first audio output module, a second audio output module, and a head module connected between the first and second audio output modules that are located at both ends of the head module respectively. The head module stays bent when in use and stays straight when in compact storage. Thus the form factor of the headphone device in compact storage is relatively smaller.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a first body, a second body, a baffle and a drive mechanism. The second body includes an opening the bottom surface thereof, and the baffle is disposed on the bottom surface to cover the opening. The baffle moves with respect to the second body and has a raised portion. The drive mechanism includes a pivot, a linkage and a sliding member. The pivot connects the first body and the second body. The linkage is sleeved over the pivot. The sliding member is connected to the linkage and has a pushing portion. While the first body rotates with respect to the second body, the pivot rotates with the first body and drives the linkage to push the sliding member. In the meantime, the sliding member displaces to push the raised portion by the pushing portion, so that the baffle moves and exposes part of the opening.
Abstract:
A keyboard is used for operating an electronic device, wherein an operation system of the electronic device has a plurality of graphical user interfaces. The keyboard includes a main body, a plurality of keycaps, a circuit board and an interface switching button, wherein the keycaps and the interface switching button are disposed on the body and move along up and down directions with respect to the main body when pressed. The circuit board is electrically provided with a plurality of trigger switches and a controller. When the trigger switches are triggered, the controller outputs an operating signal to electronic device. When the corresponding trigger switch is triggered, the controller outputs a switching signal to the electronic device, so as to execute one of the user interfaces. Besides, the objective of the present invention is to switch different user interfaces on the operation system via operating the function switching button.
Abstract:
An all-in-one computer includes a display module and a host provided in a housing of the display module. The host includes a power module, a cell module and a circuit board electrically connected with the power module, the cell module and a panel of the display module respectively. A processing unit and a control unit are provided on the circuit board. The processing unit is configured to optionally receive the power from the power module and operating at a first frequency or receive the power from the cell module and operate at a second frequency lower than the first frequency. The control unit is configured to disable the power module and enable the cell module according to a voltage level of the power module and cause the processing unit to operate at a reduced frequency for decreasing power consumption thereof are provided.
