Abstract:
A custom roof top cargo carrier kit is disclosed that enables an end user to assemble and mount a cargo carrier demonstrating a desired custom length suitable for a variety of roof top mounting. The carrier utilizes multiple side rail segments in a wide range of predetermined lengths enabling assembly of cargo carriers having a wide range of fore/aft length while, at the same time, enabling the kit to be packaged in a relatively compact form. The custom roof top cargo carrier utilizes tubular shaped side rail segments joined via centrally placed assembly studs aligned with the longitudinal axis of each segment so as to form complete side rails. This means of affixation provides a solid butt joint yielding increased resistance to forces that ordinarily cause failure of prior art side rails.

According to one embodiment, a graphics/video processor includes a memory controller. The memory controller includes a first arbiter that receives memory client requests to access a memory device, and a first memory buffer coupled to the first arbiter. The first arbiter stores client requests that are selected by the first arbiter. The memory controller also includes a second arbiter coupled to the first memory buffer and a second memory buffer coupled to the second arbiter. The second arbiter receives requests from the memory client requests stored in the first memory buffer. The second memory buffer stores the client requests selected by the second arbiter. Further, the memory controller includes a third arbiter coupled to the second memory buffer. The third arbiter provides access of the memory device to the client requests stored in the second memory buffer.

A measuring tape device has a hook piece consisting of a hook plate and a pulling plate to be connected into a L-shaped structure; the edges of the hook plate are formed with an U-shaped extruded holder for holding an anti-slip piece, said pulling plate has a hollow area, a magnetic base to be screwed onto the tape is put on said pulling plate with a convex bottom portion held by said hollow area and then the magnetic base is attached to the upper surface of said pulling plate, such that said pulling plate can be moved forward and backward along the bottom surface portions surround said convex portion of said magnetic base. Besides, there is a box formed on said magnetic base for safely holding a magnetic element.

A reversibly slide-swingable balance-training apparatus includes a base unit, a transmission unit mounted in the base unit and providing a movement-constraining eccentric shaft and a power-maintaining rotary member for rotating the movement-constraining eccentric shaft continuously, one or a pair of linkages each having a first link pivotally connected to the movement-constraining eccentric shaft of the transmission unit, a second link pivotally coupled between the first link and the base unit and a third link pivotally connected to the second link, and a platform pivotally connected to the first link and third link of each linkage. Subject to the oscillation motion of the links of the linkage in matching with the postures of the user and the functioning of the movement-constraining eccentric shaft and the continuation of the energy of the power-maintaining rotary member, the platform is reversibly slide-swinging for best balance training.

An exerciser includes a mechanical unit having a first mechanical member and a second mechanical member operable by one part of the body of a human being, a speed-controllable power drive having a first connection end and a second connection end respectively connected to the first mechanical member and the second mechanical member and being drivable by a power source to move the second mechanical member in making a first action and a second action relative to the first mechanical member, and an induction control unit having a first sensor set installed in the mechanical unit and a second sensor set installed in the speed-controllable power drive for controlling the operation of the speed-controllable power drive. The first sensor set is movable with the mechanical unit relative to the second sensor set between a first position where the induction control unit drives the speed-controllable power drive to move the second mechanical member in making the first action and a second position where the induction control unit drives the speed-controllable power drive to move the second mechanical member in making the second action.

An improvement on the structure of a measuring tape device is that a magnetic mechanism is secured at the distal end of a measuring tape. The magnetic mechanism is not placed onto the leg piece of the hook member and thus is not formed as part of the body of the hook member of the measuring tape. The front end of the magnetic mechanism is placed in alignment with the “0” cm mark on the measuring tape. During measuring process of an object of measurement and a designated point, the magnetic mechanism allows the measuring tape to be magnetically attached to the surface of the object and anchored at the exact starting point of measurement, and therefore, the measuring precision will not be skewed because of thickness of the hook member or because of the gap caused by the movable mechanics of the hook member.

A one way wheel assembly of the present invention includes a first wheel, a second wheel, and a telescoping device pivotally connected to the first wheel and the second wheel respectively. The telescoping device provides a tolerance that first wheel may move toward the second wheel and touch it. So that, when the first wheel is moved along a direction, away from the second wheel, the first wheel will draw the second wheel through the telescoping device. On the contrary, when the first wheel is moved along an opposite direction, toward the second wheel, the first wheel will touch the second wheel and cause a jam to stop both of the wheels.
