A PAL signal demodulating apparatus comprises BPF filters that perform band pass filtering to pass a chroma band for frames 1 to 5, thereby producing the BPF output signals for the frames, a 3D color phase distortion correcting color signal acquiring unit that calculates correlations between frames 1 and 3 and between frames 3 and 5 and takes a weighted average of the BPF output signals for frames 2 and 4 with weights according to the two calculated correlations, thereby producing a 3D color phase distortion correcting color signal N, and a carrier chrominance signal extracting unit that takes the addition/subtraction of the BPF output signal for frame 3 and the 3D color phase distortion correcting color signal, thereby extracting carrier chrominance signals, to perform correctly U/V separation for a line different in color from its preceding and following lines in the same frame.

The carrier (10) for double-side polishing has a base material 10a the material of which is stainless steel (SUS) , for example, as is before, and the base material 10a is coated with a coating layer 10b of a material having a hardness higher than that of the base material 10a. The coating layer 10b is desirably coated uniformly without variations in thickness and not warped easily, and the material for the coating layer 10b of the double-side polishing carrier 10 is desirably any one selected from diamond-like carbon, a nitride film, a sapphire film and a titanium nitride film. For production of the double-side polishing carrier 10, a double-side polishing carrier 10′ having been used for polishing is prepared first. The used carrier 10′ is coated with the coating layer 10b. The invention can suppress the progress of abrasion of the double-side polishing carrier, and can provide satisfactory thickness accuracy, film thickness distribution accuracy, and surface roughness.

The present invention provides a method for inducing immunosuppressive cells by cultivating human cells with the use of a culture device having an affinity for protein and the culture device to be used therefor. According to the present invention, immunosuppressive cells can be efficiently induced by using a solid culture and can provide an efficient therapeutic system for diseases caused by hypersensitivity of the immune system with less side effect.

A composition for peelable coating, which composition exhibits excellent properties such as film-formability and water resistance and can be dried at ambient temperature without any particular heating, to thereby provide excellent coating performance. The composition contains a core/shell copolymer including an acrylic copolymer portion A having a high glass transition temperature of 30° C.-70° C. and an acrylic copolymer portion B having a low glass transition temperature of 5° C. to −30° C. and being formed through multi-step polymerization. The core/shell copolymer is made up of 5-40 wt. % of the acrylic copolymer portion A and 60-95 wt. % of the acrylic copolymer portion B, on the basis of the total amount of the portion A and the portion B. The acrylic copolymer portion A and the acrylic copolymer portion B contain the same hard-polymer-providing monomer unit and soft-polymer-providing monomer unit. Each copolymer portion contains a hard-polymer-providing monomer unit and a soft-polymer-providing monomer unit in a total amount of 70 wt. % or more.
