A coating apparatus includes (1) a robot including at least one movable portion, at least one motor for driving the movable portion, and at least one pressurized chamber in which the motor for driving the movable portion is disposed; and (2) a coating device including a coating gun, a paint feed pump and a motor for driving the paint feed pump, the coating device being mounted to the robot. The motor for driving the paint feed pump is disposed in the pressurized chamber.

A human body detector for a seat which does not deteriorate comfort of sitting even when it is disposed on the seat, has a high sensitivity and can be easily fitted to the seat. Vibration detection means (5) is disposed in such a manner that even when a person is seated, the means (5) comes into contact with the bottom surface of a seat pad (16) of a seat (19) and accordingly the person does not feel the means (5). According to this construction, the human body does not easily feel the means (5) by the provision of the seat pad (16), the existence of the vibration detection means (5) is hardly felt even when the hardness and the shape are changed, and various measures for improving the sensitivity of the vibration detection means (5) can be taken. The vibration detection means (5) may be merely bonded to the seat pad (16) or may be fixed to a seat spring (17) or a seat frame (18), and can be fitted more easily to the seat (19) than when it is disposed below a surface cloth (15) of the seat (19).

A facsimile machine with a plurality of cassettes which is capable of printing a transmission report including first data and second data on a printing sheet accommodated in the cassette where the first data being a result of the transmission and the second data being an image data of a transmitted data, said facsimile machine includes: a memory unit for storing the first data and the second data therein to be read out; an editing unit for reading out the first data and the second data from the memory unit and formulating a resultant data; a sheet size set unit for detecting and setting a size of printing sheet on which the resultant data is to be printed; a divider unit for dividing the resultant data into a plurality of block data according to the size set by the sheet size set unit; a judgment unit for judging whether the block data corresponding to the last page of report is solely the second data; and a print control unit for inhibiting printing of the second data on the last page of report when it is judged that the block data corresponding to the last page of report is solely the second data by the judgment unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a recording material bearing member that bears recording material; an image forming device for forming an image on the recording material carried on the recording material carrying member, in an image forming station; and a discharger for discharging the recording material after the image is formed on the recording material, the discharger including an outside discharger disposed adjacent an image bearing surface side of the recording material; wherein a discharging operation of the discharger is changed in response to a rigidity of the recording material. Specifically, the discharging power is rendered weaker or stops its operation when the rigidity is larger than a specific value.

Transfer paper for outputting color images, suitable for use as a transfer member used in a color electrophotographic apparatus capable of forming a multi-color toner image by using at least two colors of single-color toner. The paper has a whiteness degree of 85% or more and an opaqueness degree of 90% or more. A method of forming a color image includes the steps of transferring a color toner image to transfer paper having a whiteness degree of 85% or more and an opaqueness degree of 90% or more, and heatingly fixing the color toner image.

An image formation apparatus is disclosed, capable of forming an image on both surfaces of a recording medium. The image formation apparatus is provided with the latent image forming unit for forming an unfixed image on the photosensitive drum, the transfer drum for transferring the unfixed image onto the recording medium, and an oil application device for applying a release agent onto the fixing roller. The release agent applied upon fixing the first surface is different in quantity from that applied upon fixing the second surface and the releasing agent applied to the fixing rotor during single side fixing is different in quantity than when both surfaces are to be fixed. The releasing agent quantity also differs depending on whether the apparatus is in cassette feed mode or manual feed mode and is not applied when the recording medium is in contact with the fixing roller.

It has been found that aluminum, which is considered as to cause various diseases such as dialysis dementia, bone diseases, hypochromic anemia and Alzheimer's disease, would be eluted into a conventional albumin preparation preserved in a hard glass container, which increases the aluminum concentration of the preparation. According to the present invention, it has been found that the substitution of the conventional hard glass container with a soft glass container dealkalized by, for example, treatment with sulfurous acid gas or ammonium sulfate solution for preserving an albumin preparation can make it possible to prevent the elution of aluminum from the container, thus giving a highly safe albumin preparation which can be maintained with an extremely low aluminum concentration over a long period of time.

An image forming apparatus includes first and second image bearing members; movable carrying member for carrying a transfer material through a first transfer position for electrostatically transferring a first image from the first image bearing member to the transfer material and through a second transfer position, downstream of the first transfer position with respect to a movement direction of the carrying member, for electrostatically transferring a second image from the second image bearing member onto the transfer material; wherein the apparatus is operable in a first mode wherein the images are transferred onto the transfer material both at the first and second transfer positions and in a second mode wherein no image is transferred onto the transfer material at the first transfer position, and the image is transferred onto the transfer material at the second transfer position; wherein differences in surface potentials of the transfer material immediately before and after the transfer material passes through the first transfer position in the first mode and the second transfer position in the second mode, are substantially the same.

A mold casting process comprises, after pouring of a molten metal into a mold, rapidly cooling that surface layer of a cast product which is in contact with a mold, and releasing the resulting product from the mold when the surface layer thereof has been converted into a shell-like solidified layer. Such process is used for casting a mechanical part blank and apparatus for carrying out the process is provided.
