Abstract: A system for monitoring the irradiation of an object with light from a luminaire includes the luminaire having one or more light sources, which emit light having a spatial radiation pattern; a computing unit, connected to the luminaire and set up to acquire information about an illuminance of the light of the light sources; a first memory, connected to the computing unit and in which information about spatial positioning of the luminaire relative to a surface of the object is stored; and a second memory, connected to the computing unit and in which information about the spatial radiation pattern of the light sources is stored. The computing unit may calculate and output a local intensity of light incident at the respective position on the basis of illuminance information, the spatial radiation pattern of the light sources, and the spatial positioning of the luminaire relative to the surface of the object.

Abstract: A method may include supplying electric power to a first light source and a second light source of at least two light sources by at least one ballast so that the first light source and the second light source emit a first source light and a second source light with a first and second spectral light distribution, respectively. The method further includes superimposing the first and second source light using an optical unit such that the lighting device outputs light with a spectral superposition light distribution. The method further includes detecting the light outputted from the lighting device using a light distribution sensor that provides a sensor signal corresponding to a spectral light distribution of the detected light. The method further includes comparing the sensor signal to a predefined spectral light distribution and adjusting the electric power supplied to the respective light source by the ballast based on the comparison.

Abstract: A circuit assembly for simulating a load current from an on-board network having an input connected to a line of the on-board network of a vehicle for connecting to a load, an output connected to a light source which replaces the load. A series circuit formed by a resistor and a switch, wherein the resistor has a resistance in the same order as that of the load to be simulated, and the series circuit is connected in parallel with the input. A switching controller with the input connected in parallel to the input of the circuit assembly, and draws a current from the line of the on-board network for connecting to a load smaller than the load current of the load to be replaced. The circuit assembly is open the switch and actuate the switching controller and to close the switch and deactivate the switching controller.
