Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a network. In one embodiment, the method includes the network configuring a first serving cell and a second serving cell to a UE, wherein a first PDCCH scheduling a first PDSCH on the first serving cell and a second PDCCH scheduling a second PDSCH on the second serving cell are transmitted via a CORESET of the second serving cell. The method further includes the network not configuring a CORESET configuration for the first serving cell. Furthermore, the method includes the network indicating the UE to receive and/or monitor the first PDCCH based on CORESET configuration of the second serving cell.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for downlink data buffering considering cross carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, the UE receives configuration of a first serving cell and a second serving cell from a network. The UE receives and/or monitors a first PDCCH transmitted on a scheduling CORESET of the second serving cell, wherein the first PDCCH schedules a first PDSCH transmitted on the first serving cell. The UE receives and/or monitors a second PDCCH transmitted on a scheduling CORESET of the second serving cell, wherein the second PDCCH schedules a second PDSCH transmitted on the second serving cell. The UE receives and/or buffers the second PDSCH via a TCI state used for PDCCH quasi co-location indication of the CORESET with the lowest CORESET-ID in the latest slot in which one or more CORESETs are configured for the UE, before the UE decodes successfully the second PDCCH. The UE does not receive and/or buffer the first PDSCH before the UE decodes successfully the first PDCCH.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a Random Access Channel (RACH) configuration from a network node, wherein the RACH configuration indicates at least one Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource for beam failure recovery. The method further includes receiving a timing advance command from the network node, and starting or restarting a time alignment timer when receiving the timing advance command. The method also includes releasing the at least one PRACH resource for the beam failure recovery indicated by the RACH configuration when the timing alignment timer expires.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE (User Equipment). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE being configured with a first CORESET (Control Resource Set), wherein (i) the first CORESET is not used to monitor and/or receive a DCI (Downlink Control Information) scrambled by C-RNTI (Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier) in response to transmitting a preamble for beam failure recovery, (ii) the UE is configured to perform a first number of channel estimation attempts and a second number of blind decode attempts for receiving and/or monitoring the PDCCH(s) (Physical Downlink Control Channel) candidates in the first CORESET in a first slot, and (iii) the UE is configured to perform the first number of channel estimation attempts and the second number of blind decode attempts for receiving and/or monitoring the PDCCH(s) candidates in the first CORESET in a second slot. The method also includes the UE being configured with a second CORESET, wherein (i) the second CORESET is not used to monitor and/or receive DL (Downlink) transmission if the UE does not transmit a preamble for beam failure recovery, (ii) the second CORESET is used to monitor and/or receive a DCI scrambled by C-RNTI in response to transmitting a preamble for beam failure recovery, and (iii) the UE is configured to perform a third number of channel estimation attempts and a fourth number of blind decode attempts for receiving and/or monitoring the PDCCH(s) candidates in the second CORESET in the second slot. The method further includes the UE transmitting a preamble for beam failure recovery in response to the UE detecting that beam failure occurs. In addition, the method includes the UE monitoring and/or receiving a DCI scrambled by C-RNTI in the second CORESET in the second slot in response to transmitting the preamble for beam failure recovery. Furthermore, the method includes the UE prioritizing to receive and/or demodulate the DCI scrambled by C-RNTI in the second CORESET in the second slot, if the first number plus the third number exceeds the first maximum number or the second number plus the fourth number exceeds the second maximum number in the second slot.

In one embodiment, the method includes the UE monitors or receives a control signal within a channel occupancy, wherein the control signal indicates a number of consecutive TTIs (Transmission Time Intervals) and TTI format(s) related information of the TTIs. The method further includes the UE derives transmission direction of symbols in the TTIs or functionality of symbols in the TTIs from the information. The method also includes the UE considers the last TTI of the indicated TTIs as an ending TTI of the channel occupancy. In addition, the method includes the UE performs DL (Downlink) data reception or UL (Uplink) data transmission until the ending TTI.
