Abstract:
A system and method for grouping and browsing video data streams associated with cameras in a large scale surveillance system are provided. The method includes grouping a plurality of cameras associated with a surveillance system into a plurality of groups, selecting at least one group from the plurality of groups, displaying video data streams associated with a predetermined number of cameras in the selected group, and browsing through video data streams associated with all cameras in the selected group.
Abstract:
A system and method for intelligent camera display based on selective searching is provided. The method includes searching a plurality of devices for compliance with a search criteria, and performing an action substantially simultaneously on all devices in the plurality of devices that are in compliance with the search criteria.
Abstract:
RF-compositions including surfactants, foam stabilizers, monomers, polymers, urethanes, intermediates, metal complexes, phosphate esters as well as telomerization methods are provided.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to substantially atactic polymers of at least one of propylene, 1-butene or 1-pentene, processes for making such polymers and compositions including the polymers. The polymers may be used as lubricants or may be combined with low viscosity base stocks to form lubricants. The polymers may be made in the presence of a metallocene catalyst with a non-coordinating anion activator and optionally with hydrogen.
Abstract:
A system and method for generating side-by-side video surveillance feed and point-of-service device text is provided. The system includes a video surveillance device, a point-of-service device such as an ATM, slot machine and point-of-sale device, and a synchronizing unit for synchronizing the video surveillance feed with point-of-service text when a security officer identifies activities matching a predetermined criteria occurring at the point-of-service device. The video surveillance feed is generated and processed for display on a security monitor. When an activities matching the predetermined criteria is identified near a point-of-service device, point-of-service text is received from the device. Both the video surveillance feed and the point-of-service text are displayed side-by-side so that neither data obscures the other. The video surveillance feed and the point-of-service text are also synchronized to one another and stored for later use.
Abstract:
A method and system are described for estimating resource provisioning. An example method may include obtaining a workflow path including an external invocation node and respective groups of service nodes, node connectors, and hardware nodes, and including a directed ordered path indicating ordering of a flow of execution of services associated with the service nodes, from the external invocation node, to a hardware node, determining an indicator of a service node workload based on attribute values associated with a service node and an indicator of a propagated workload based on combining attribute values associated with the external invocation node and other service nodes or node connectors preceding the service node in the workflow path based on the ordering, and provisioning the service node onto a hardware node based on combining the indicator of the service node workload and an indicator of a current resource demand associated with the hardware node.
Abstract:
Methods and materials are provided for the production and purification of halogenated compounds and intermediates in the production of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane. In a preferred embodiment, the process steps include: (1) reacting carbon tetrachloride with vinyl chloride to produce 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane; (2) dehydrochlorinating the 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane with a Lewis acid catalyst to produce 1,1,3,3-tetrachloropropene; (3) fluorinating the 1,1,3,3-tetrachloropropene to produce 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene; (4) fluorinating the 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene to produce a product mixture containing 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane; and (5) separating 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropro-pane from by-products.

Abstract:
A person can create a desired color through use of a visual aid or tool. The aid or tool may include a plurality of color lines, provided on a medium, on which color can be blended. The plurality of color lines may include: (i) a primary set of color lines, each providing a corresponding primary color that is different than a primary color of another color line in the primary set, and (ii) a secondary set of lines, where each color line in the secondary set is for a corresponding secondary color. Each color line in the primary set includes a plurality of color formations, and each color formation may have a common range of hues that are different of hues of the other color lines in the primary set. The plurality of color formations of each color line are arranged from a highest intensity to a lowest intensity. Each color line in the secondary set includes a plurality of color formations for the corresponding secondary color. The plurality of colors for each color line in the primary set and in the secondary set are arranged from a lowest intensity to a highest intensity. One of the color lines may be identified as either containing the desired color or containing a first primary component of the desired color. Once identified, one of two actions may take place: adjacent color formations from a single color line may be mixed, or color formations from adjacent color lines of relatively equivalent intensity are mixed.
