Abstract: A vehicle comprises: a plurality of seating assemblies, each seating assembly including an exterior surface, an interior beneath the exterior surface, a pressured supply of liquid sanitizer disposed within the interior, and at least one valve in fluid communication with the pressurized supply of liquid sanitizer that opens to allow liquid sanitizer to be dispensed onto the exterior surface. Each of the at least one valve are selectively positionable to and from an open position where the liquid sanitizer flows through the valve to allow liquid sanitizer to be dispensed onto the exterior surface and a closed position where the liquid sanitizer cannot flow through the valve. A controller, configured to receive instructions from a user interface, communicates with each of the at least one valve to cause any particular valve to move to and from the open position and the closed position.

Abstract: A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat base. A floor track assembly includes a floor track having a roller track and a rack. At least one pinion gear is configured to rotate along the rack. At least one floor track motor is disposed adjacent to the floor track assembly. The at least one floor track motor rotates the at least one pinion gear along the rack to laterally translate the seat base fore and aft. An elevated track assembly is operably coupled to the floor track assembly. The seat base is coupled to the elevated track assembly. The elevated track assembly is laterally translatable relative to the floor track assembly.

Abstract: A seating assembly includes a seating surface extending over at least one of a seat and a seatback. The seating assembly also includes a fluid mover and a fluid transfer member including a fluid inlet portion and a fluid outlet portion. The fluid inlet portion is coupled to the fluid mover, and the fluid outlet portion is proximate the seating surface. The fluid mover is selectively operable to release a pressurized fluid through the tube so that the release of the pressurized fluid at the outlet cools a seating assembly occupant.

Abstract: A seatback carrier module includes first and second side portions spaced-apart from one another and interconnected by an upper portion. A cradle portion is disposed along the first and second side portions and the upper portion of the seatback carrier module. The cradle portion includes inner and outer edges with a rearwardly extending body portion. A mounting portion is disposed along a portion of the inner edge of the cradle portion. The mounting portion includes inner and outer edges with a body portion disposed therebetween. The mounting portion further includes a rearwardly extending sidewall disposed along the inner edge of the mounting portion. An airbag assembly is received within the cradle portion and has an inverted U-shaped configuration to substantially surround the outer perimeter of the seatback frame. The airbag assembly is an elongate member defining an overhead airbag assembly.

Abstract: A vehicle seating assembly includes a frame and an articulating flexmat assembly operably coupled with the frame. The articulating flexmat assembly includes an upper flexmat extending from a first side of the frame to a second side of the frame and a lower flexmat extending from the first side of the frame to the second side of the frame. The upper flexmat includes an upper static portion and an upper dynamic portion disposed above the upper static portion and adjustable by upper linear actuators that draw the upper dynamic portion toward the upper static portion to arc the upper flexmat outward. The lower flexmat includes a lower static portion adjacent to the upper static portion and a lower dynamic portion disposed below the lower static portion and adjustable by lower linear actuators that draw the lower dynamic portion toward the lower static portion to arc the lower flexmat outward.

Abstract: A seating assembly includes a seat having a seating surface, a first conductor, a second conductor, and a plurality of thermoelectric devices arranged between the first conductor and the second conductor in an elongated strip located proximate the seating surface. A voltage is applied to the thermoelectric devices to thermodynamically influence the seating surface. An air mover is in fluid communication with the thermoelectric devices. A conductive grease is disposed between the first conductor and the plurality of thermoelectric devices, and a conductive adhesive is disposed between the second conductor and the plurality of thermoelectric devices.
