Abstract:
A base station accommodated in a communications system for communicating with a mobile station, the base station includes: a transmitter configured to generate frequency band information indicating which frequency band of frequency bands used in the communications system to communicate with a mobile station, to transmit the frequency band information by using a specific frequency band selected from a plurality of frequency bands available in the system, and to communicate with the mobile station using at least one of the plurality of frequency bands.
Abstract:
A radio communication system including: a first and second base station apparatuses which include one or more of sells or sectors respectively; and a terminal apparatus, wherein the first and second base station apparatuses and the terminal apparatus performs radio communication, the first and second base station apparatuses includes: a process unit which performs a scrambling process to a first and second transmission data respectively by using a common scrambling code when the first and second transmission data differing each of the cells or the sectors are transmitted to the terminal apparatus; and a transmission unit which transmits the scrambling processed first and second transmission data to the terminal apparatus respectively, and the terminal apparatus includes a reception unit which receives the first and the second transmission data and performs descrambling process to the first and the second transmission data by using the common scrambling code.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system including: at least one base station configured to form each of at least one first cell being a cell to which a wireless terminal is able to couple without coupling to another cell and each of at least one second cell being a cell to which a wireless terminal is unable to couple without coupling to another cell, and a specific wireless terminal configured to: identify, when the specific wireless terminal couples to no cell, at least one known signal being at least a part of at least one first known signal based on a first rule, the at least one known signal being received from the at least one first cell, select a cell being one of the at least one first cell based on the identified at least one known signal, and couple to the selected cell.
Abstract:
In a radio communication system a first radio station performs communication by the use of a first radio signal. A second radio station receives a second radio signal which is indistinguishable from the first radio signal. A third radio station is in a radio communication area of the first radio station and a radio communication area of the second radio station. A communication format conversion unit generates a third radio signal by converting a communication format of the second radio signal to a communication format which is distinguishable from the first radio signal, and communicates with the third radio station by the use of the third radio signal.
Abstract:
A communication system includes a terminal apparatus; and primary and secondary base station apparatuses each providing one or more cells. Further, the primary base station apparatus includes a transmission unit transmitting communication conditions to the secondary base station apparatus in a coordinated communication mode where the primary and secondary base station apparatuses perform radio communications with the terminal apparatus in coordination with each other, and a radio communication unit performing radio communications with the terminal apparatus using the communication conditions in the coordinated communication mode. Further, the secondary base station apparatus includes a receiving unit receiving the communication conditions from the primary base station apparatus, a transition unit transitioning, when the communication conditions are received from the primary base station apparatus, into the coordinated communication mode, and a radio communication unit performing radio communications with the terminal apparatus using the communication conditions.
Abstract:
Each of two or more base stations notifies a communication controller of information on a first frequency band that the base station uses for radio communication. Based on the information on the first frequency bands acquired from the two or more base stations, the communication controller selects a second frequency band to be used by the two or more base stations to transmit the data with common content, and notifies the two or more base stations of information on the selected second frequency band. The two or more base stations transmit the data with common content based on the information on the second frequency band acquired from the communication controller.
