Abstract:
Off-axis projection optics that includes first and second mirrors positioned off-axis and sharing a confocal point that are arranged to reduce linear astigmatism. If a distance between an object plane and the first mirror is l1, an incident angle of light coming from the object plane to the first mirror is i1, a distance between the first mirror and the confocal point is l1′, a distance between the confocal point and the second mirror is l2, an incident angle of light coming from the first mirror to the second mirror is i2, and a distance between the second mirror and an image plane is l2′, the off-axis projection optics may satisfy the following equation: l 1 ′ + l 1 l 1 tan i 1 = l 2 ′ + l 2 l 2 tan i 2 .

A display device includes a light supplying unit generating light and a liquid crystal panel having a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules aligned substantially parallel to the plane of a pair of substrates by anti-parallel rubbing when no voltage is applied to the panel. Bias voltage corresponding to maximum gray level of the panel is determined between threshold voltage of the liquid crystal layer and 40% of maximum voltage,
Abstract:
A thin film transistor substrate and a liquid crystal display capable of eliminating residual images and enhancing clarity are presented. The thin film transistor substrate includes a charge-up capacitor for increasing electric charge in a first pixel electrode of a first pixel capacitor and a charge-down capacitor decreasing electric charge in a second pixel electrode of a second pixel capacitor. An extension electrode portion of the charge-up capacitor is formed in the shape of a frame to reduce any variation in the overlapping area between the first pixel electrode and the extension electrode portion caused by an alignment error generated during the manufacturing process.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for ensuring QoS in a synchronous Ethernet bridge are disclosed, in which a classifier classifies an ingress packet according to a PHB mapped to a DSCP value of the packet and provides the classified packet to one of a predetermined synchronous packet queue and a predetermined asynchronous packet queue, a buffer queue with a plurality of queues mapped to priority levels buffers the classified packet, a marker marks the buffered packet as a synchronous packet or, if the buffered packet is an asynchronous packet, marks the packet in a predetermined format corresponding to a priority level of the packet, and a synchronous Ethernet scheduler schedules the marked packet.
Abstract:
A bridge-based RAS backbone network system and a signal processing method therefor are provided. In the bridge-based RAS backbone network system, a plurality of BSBs with Layer 2 (L2) switches are connected to a plurality of RASs, anda plurality of SCBs with L2 switches are connected to part of the BSBs in a lower layer, forming a core network. An HLR manages configuration information of network entities by storing the IP addresses and MAC addresses of MNs within the network and the addresses of SCBs to which the MNs belong in a table. Each of the SCBs statically preserves the MAC address of an external default router, for relaying an egress frame, statically registers its individual MAC address in other SCBs in the core network beforehand, detects a destination MN through the HLR, and sends a frame to the SCB of the destination MN or the MAC address of the external default router.
