    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for estimating, by a third device, a location of a first device by using a Bluetooth low energy (LE) technique. The present invention provides a method and an apparatus, the method comprising the steps of: receiving, from the third device, a location measurement request message for requesting a measurement of the location of the first device; transmitting, to the first device, a first request message for requesting location information relating to the location of the first device; receiving, from the first device, a first response message including the location information as a response to the request message; estimating location value information indicating the location of the first device on the basis of the location information; and transmitting, to the third device, a location measurement response message including the estimated location value information.
