    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for DMRS transmission. A method implemented at a terminal device comprises selecting, from a plurality of computer generated (CG) sequences, a CG sequence for an uplink channel modulated with a predetermined modulation technique. The method further comprises generating, based on the selected CG sequence, a DMRS sequence for the uplink channel. In addition, the method further comprises transmitting, over the uplink channel, the DMRS sequence to a network device. The embodiments of the present disclosure can provide a set of candidate CG sequences with low PAPR, good autocorrelation performance and good cross-correlation performance for generating DMRS sequences for π/2-BPSK modulated PUSCH or PUCCH.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and apparatus for resource allocation for a control resource region in a wireless communication system. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method may include determining resource units each containing a predetermined number of resource blocks based on available transmission resources. Resource blocks not contained in the resource units are distributed in the available transmission resources to divide resource blocks contained in the resource units into a plurality of resource segments. The method also comprise allocating one or more of the determined resource units to the control resource region and transmitting resource allocation information indicating the allocated one or more of resource units. With embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided an effective solution for resource allocation for control resource region.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for uplink signal receiving and transmission in a wireless communication system. Length indication information is transmitted to terminal devices. The length indication information indicates a length of reference signal sequences for uplink control information to be transmitted by different terminal devices in a short duration within the same transmission resource, which can be configured so that reference signals for the uplink control information of different terminal devices can be orthogonal with each other. The uplink control information and reference signals with the length of reference signal sequence as indicated by the length indication information can be received from the terminal devices. With embodiments of the present disclosure, a flexible, dynamic DMRS length indication solution is provided, which can address can address the orthogonality issue resulted from different sizes of UCI. In some embodiments, it can further address resource allocation issues related to UCI transmission in the short duration.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for determining HARQ timing in a communication system supporting Carrier Aggregation (CA) are provided. A method for receiving, at a BS, a HARQ feedback from a UE in a communication system supporting CA of a Pcell and at least one Scell is provided. The Pcell and Scell support either FDD or TDD. The method comprises: transmitting a downlink physical channel through one of the Pcell and Scell; receiving the HARQ feedback corresponding to the downlink physical channel of the Pcell at a first timing predetermined for the Pcell; and receiving the HARQ feedback corresponding to the downlink physical channel of the Scell at a second timing.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for transmitting control information. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, a configuration for PDCCH transmission is determined at least based on a periodicity of a plurality of symbol-based control resource sets (CORESETs) within one slot. The configuration indicates an allocation of a first number of PDCCH candidates to the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs. The first number of PDCCH candidates is less than a second number of PDCCH candidates preconfigured for a slot-based CORESET. The configuration is transmitted to a terminal device served by the network device. Downlink control information (DCI) is transmitted based on the configuration to the terminal device in the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs.
