Abstract:
Live router migration is implemented by separating the logical features of a virtual router from its physical features. Tunnels are established between a source (physical) router and a destination (physical) router, allowing the control plane of the virtual router being migrated to send and receive messages from the destination router. The control plane information is then transferred to the destination router, which functions to clone the data plane at the destination router. Outgoing links from the destination router are then be established. The double appearance of the data plane at both the source and destination routers allows for the data plane information to be transferred asynchronously over to the destination router. Once all of the data plane information has been transferred, incoming data traffic links at the destination router can be established and the tunnels between the routers taken down.
Abstract:
Apparatus, systems and methods for performing gel electrophoresis using a monolithic electrophoresis unit that at least includes first and second buffer chambers containing buffer solution and a gel chamber containing a pre-cast gel, whereby all of these chambers are integrated into a pre-fabricated single unit that is ready for use. In performing gel electrophoresis, a top seal of this monolithic electrophoresis unit is removed, followed by removing a gel chamber seal from over the gel chamber, such that, buffer solution contacts the pre-cast gel within such gel chamber. Target samples are loaded into the gel chamber for contact with the pre-cast gel, a reusable lid is attached to the top surface of the monolithic electrophoresis unit, and an electrical connection is provided through the reusable lid into the monolithic electrophoresis unit for performing electrophoresis on the pre-cast gel.

Analyte sensors for determining the concentration of an analyte in a sample. The sensors have a sample chamber having an inlet (21) with a projection (30) extending from an edge of the sensor for facilitating flow of sample into the sample chamber.
Abstract:
A method and a device for forwarding an MPLS packet, the method comprising: allocating a private MAC address to a port number of the MPLS packet interface board, and establishing a correlation between the private MAC address and the public MAC address; obtaining the private MAC address and the port number corresponding to a destination public MAC address of the MPLS packet according to the correlation; substituting the private MAC address for the public MAC address in the MPLS packet; forwarding the MPLS packet to the corresponding port according to the private MAC address. The device comprises: an MPLS packet interface board arranged in an ether switching device, for providing a dedicated interface for MPLS packet forwarding; and a MAC address converting module, for converting between the public MAC address in the MPLS packet and the private MAC address in the ether switching device.
Abstract:
In vitro electrochemical sensors that provide accurate and repeatable analysis of a sample of biological fluid are provided. Embodiments include sensors that include a sample chambers having overhangs extending therefrom.
Abstract:
In time-resolved contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography, a measure quantifying image quality provides a basis for generating a linear filtered composite image by facilitating selection of a mask and an arterial phase image for subtraction. Filtering of individual pixels of a temporal series of images provides enhanced contrast in a single image by allowing the temporal behavior of the pixel intensity to denote representation as an artery, vein or background tissue. Motion artifacts are suppressed by re-registering sequential images, adjusting weighting before averaging and subtraction and filtering the Fourier data to eliminate data corrupted by motion or other phenomena.
