Abstract: An example of a system for post-case analysis of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performance trends includes a ventilation metrics device with sensors configured to generate signals indicative of ventilation treatment data during a medical treatment of a patient, and a patient monitor/defibrillator configured to receive the signals, calculate the ventilation treatment data based on the received signals, and transmit the ventilation treatment data, and a remote computing device configured to communicatively couple with the treatment monitoring system and with an output display device, the computing device including at least one memory and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory, the at least one processor configured to receive treatment data from the treatment monitoring system, the treatment data including the ventilation treatment data, and provide case review information at a case review dashboard at the output device, the case review information including time trend plots of the ventilation treatment data.

Abstract: A medical device for review of clinical data in a playback mode is described. The medical device includes at least one output device comprising at least one display screen, at least one memory, and at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and the at least one output device, the at least one processor configured to receive signals indicative of patient data from one or more patient interface devices communicatively coupled to the medical device, control the at least one display screen to provide a first visual representation of the patient data as an operational interface, and selectively display a playback interface at the at least one display screen wherein the playback interface enables user interactive review of the patient data based on a second visual representation of the patient data.

Abstract: A patient management system for generating customized patient reports for users is provided. The system includes communications circuitry configured to receive first physiological data from a plurality of monitoring medical devices and receive second physiological data from a plurality of therapeutic medical devices. The system also includes at least one processor configured to perform instructions configured to cause the at least one processor to receive a selection from an end user regarding a customized report on at least one of the first physiological data from the plurality of monitoring medical devices or the second physiological data from the plurality of therapeutic medical devices, determine at least one information field for the customized report based on an access level of the end user, and compile the customized report including the at least one information field and using the at least one of the first physiological data or the second physiological data.

Abstract: A system is provided for integrating at least one portable computing device with a resuscitative medical device such as a defibrillator. The system may include a carrying case coupled to the resuscitative medical device. The carrying case may include a storage space for the at least one portable computing device and a wireless charging system for charging the at least one portable computing device. The system may be configured to enable secure data transfer between each of the devices, including data communication and data storage. A processor of the resuscitative medical device may be configured to activate the wireless charging system and charge the at least one portable computing device under certain circumstances. The processor may further be configured to prioritize or optimize charging and data transfer between the resuscitative medical device and each of multiple portable computing devices.

Abstract: A medical system according to embodiments of the present invention includes at least one sensor configured to monitor physiological status of a patient and to generate sensor data based on the physiological status, a user interface device, a processor communicably coupled to the user interface device, the processor configured to: present via the user interface device an array of two or more possible input elements, the input elements each comprising a class of patients or a diagnosis and treatment pathway, receive a selected input element based on a user selection among the two or more possible input elements, acquire the sensor data and process the sensor data to generate physiological data, and present via the user interface screen the physiological data according to a template that is customized for the selected input element.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for resuscitating a patient suffering from cardiac arrest or another condition in which normal circulation has been interrupted. A ventilator is used for delivering a gas mixture to the patient. The ventilator is configured to adjust the partial pressure of CO2 to one or more partial pressures high enough to slow expiration of CO2 from the patient's lungs and thereby maintain a reduced pH in the patient's tissues for a period of time following return of spontaneous circulation.

Abstract: A system for assisting a rescuer with treatment of a patient is described. An example system includes a mobile computing device that includes a user interface and a processor coupled to memory. The processor is configured to cause the user interface to prompt the rescuer to select a proficiency level from among multiple proficiency levels including a basic proficiency level and at least one non-basic proficiency level. The basic proficiency level includes basic resuscitation instructions for the rescuer. The system is further configured to receive an input from the rescuer of the selected proficiency level. The system provides, if the rescuer selects the basic proficiency level, the basic resuscitation instructions to the rescuer, and provides, if the rescuer selects the at least one non-basic proficiency level, non-basic instructions to the rescuer. The system transmits signals to control a defibrillator according to the selected proficiency level.
