    Abstract: A front fork has a damping variable leg including: an outer tube at an upper end side; an inner tube at a lower end side and inserted into the outer tube; a piston rod attached to the outer tube and extending toward the lower end side; a piston at a lower end of the piston rod; and a damping force variable device at the piston so as to generate variable damping force by controlling a flow of an operating fluid. The damping variable leg further includes: a conductor member attached to the piston; and a coil conductor covered with an insulating member and attached to the inner tube. The conductor member is configured to be inserted into the coil conductor. The damping variable leg detects a stroke amount of the damping variable leg based on a change in inductance of the coil conductor.

    Abstract: A suspension device includes a pair of suspensions each containing at least one of a damping mechanism and a suspension spring. A tubular body-side member is on a vehicle body side. A tubular wheel-side member is on a vehicle wheel side and coupled to the body-side member, and moves relative to the body-side member in an axial direction. A hollow cylindrical cylinder is inside of the body-side member and the wheel-side member and includes a weak portion in the axial direction on an outer side. A rod member is inside of the body-side member and the wheel-side member and moves relatively in the axial direction in accordance with movement of the body-side member and the wheel-side member. A first defining member secured to an end portion of the rod member and in contact with the cylinder movably in the axial direction of the cylinder defines space in the cylinder.

    Abstract: An embodiment provides a vane pump device. In the vane pump device, vane grooves of a rotor include columnar grooves which accommodate oil, and support the vanes. An inner-plate low pressure side recess portion is provided in an end surface of an inner plate along a rotation direction of the rotor, and supplies oil to the columnar grooves. It includes a low pressure side upstream recess portion, a low pressure side downstream recess portion, and a low pressure side connection recess portion that connects the low pressure side upstream recess portion and the low pressure side downstream recess portion. The width of the low pressure side downstream recess portion is narrower than that of the low pressure side upstream recess portion. The width of the low pressure side connection recess portion is equal to that of the low pressure side downstream recess portion.
