Abstract: A bone piece collecting device, wherein, when bone pieces are mixing agitated with the other substances while preventing the loss of the cut bone pieces collected on a filter and contamination thereof by saliva by a self-bone transplanting method, a filter part is installed in a filter holder with impermeability to eliminate the operation for transferring the bone pieces to the other container, a collected bone container for filling bones is prevented from being fallen down by stably fixing the container to a cuff for operation or an operation table with an adhesive tape or a magic tape installed at the bottom part of the filter holder so as to facilitate the removal of the collected bones, and a gradient is marked on the transparent or semi-transparent material of the filter holder so that the amount of collected bones can be weighed easily.

Abstract: A twist-on renewable filter comprising a one-piece hollow housing, made of polymeric material having a threaded adapter for attachment to a distribution head assembly. The filter housing is fabricated from components that are made of a polymeric material that are fused together to form the one-piece hollow housing. A filter media assembly is rigidly bonded at both ends within the housing. The renewable filter has an infinite life and can be removed and cleaned, for example, by reverse flushing the filter with a cleaning solution. A bypass valve 250 is provided within the filter that is designed to provide full closure for an infinite life. The bypass valve 250 is fully located within the one-piece hollow housing such that it cannot be disabled or tampered with. The bypass valve 250 functions to allow sufficient fluid to bypass the filter media when the filter media has become contaminated and will not permit the full volume of the normal oil stream to be filtered. The bypass valve 250 has the capacity to permit the full volume of the normal oil stream to bypass the filter media when necessary, for example, during a cold start.

Abstract: An open flow fluid filter has a pleated main filter element having a plurality of pleats in a closed loop having an outer perimeter defined by a plurality of outer pleat tips, and an inner perimeter defined by a plurality of inner pleat tips. The loop has a hollow interior extending along an axis. Fluid to be filtered flows through the main filter element from an upstream dirty side to a downstream clean side, and flows axially in the hollow interior. The main filter element has an axial flow passage extending along the axis and circumscribing the hollow interior and has a flow perimeter greater than the inner perimeter. A safety filter element downstream of the main filter element filters both the axial flow in the hollow interior and additional flow between the flow perimeter and the inner perimeter. A filter with additional flow is also provided.

Abstract: This filter-drier for removing moisture from a refrigerant includes a casing having an inlet for receiving refrigerant, an outlet for discharging and a molded core disposed in said casing between said inlet and said outlet. In one embodiment, the molded core includes an outer surface at least in part engaging the inner surface of the casing. The core is held within said casing against axial movement by bonding with said casing or by an indentation protruding into said core or both. In another embodiment, the filter-drier molded core includes a filter media pad bonded to the core, the bond being sufficient to hold the filter media pad in place and eliminate the need for outlet support screens. In another embodiment, the filter-drier includes a hollow cylindrical core having a filter media bonded to the core and defining a filter media lined passage, the core being held in place by end plates having opposed axial check valves and offset check valves. This filter-drier is suitable for reversible operation in a heat pump system.

Abstract: The invention relates to a filter device comprising a filter housing (10), a filter inlet (12), a filter outlet (14), and a filter element (16) which divides a filter area (18) into two partial areas (20,22). At least one of the partial filter areas is conical in form resulting from the fact that the cross-section of one partial area (20) is tapered from the filter inlet (12) to the filter outlet (14).
