Abstract:
A vertical-shaft air filtering device having high flow rate and two-way air intake structure includes an air filter having its annular filtering member provided thereon with a fixed annular cover which is provided with an auxiliary air intake and a sheet-shaped filtering member in the center. Thus, air sucked in a hollow tube can pass through the annular filtering member and the sheet-shaped filtering member and, after filtered, get in the engine room of a vehicle, not only having a function of air filtering, but also able to enable the engine to increase instant air intake speed and amount.
Abstract:
An air duct system includes a conical fabric filter disposed within a cylindrical air duct. In some embodiments, both the filter and the air duct are inflatable. A fabric collar and a pair of zippers not only allow the filter to be readily removed for cleaning, but also allow the air duct system to continue operating with the filter removed. Pleats can provide the filter with more surface area, and the pleats can be interconnected in an alternating pattern to inhibit the filter from over-inflating.
Abstract:
A bagless vacuum cleaner system dustcup assembly and method for using said system with a vacuum cleaner apparatus to separate dirt from a mixture of dirt and air inducted into said vacuum cleaner apparatus. Said bagless vacuum cleaner system generally comprises a dustcup assembly, a handle assembly and a motor intake adaptor.
Abstract:
A filter assembly includes a conical filter element sealingly clamped to a cylindrical base. A conical housing is releasably clamped to the base with spring clips in surrounding relation with the filter element to allow for efficient installation and removal of the filter element in the housing. The filter element includes a cap having a plurality of integral turbine blades forming a plurality of channels angularly displaced from the longitudinal axis of the filter element. The channels accelerate the flow of air into the filter assembly and through the filter element. The filter element is mounted on the base to dampen vibration and abate the resultant noise generated by the flow of air through the filter assembly.
Abstract:
A backflush filter device for filter elements (22) is incorporated in a filter housing (10)having a filter inlet (18) and an outlet (20) for the liquid to be filtered. The filter elements (22) permit flow in both directions for a filtration, or backflush. One filter element (22) may be performing a filtration and, simultaneously, at least one other filter element (22) may be backflushed to clean its effective filtration surface. To assist the backflushing, a vacuum device (42) is provided. The vacuum device generates a vacuum at the filter element (22) to be backflushed. The efficacy of the ongoing backflush is increased to be able to remove even the toughest contaminants. The cleaning process uses little energy and occurs in a defined manner, such that the backflush volumes may be both specified and minimized.
Abstract:
A liquid reservoir tank assembly includes a gas-liquid separator, such as an air-oil separator. A tank body has an open end, a portion of the tank body forming a liquid separation chamber, another portion of the tank body forming a liquid reservoir. A tank cover covers the open end of the tank body, the tank body and the tank cover providing a gas inlet and a gas outlet with a gas flow through the separation chamber from the gas inlet to the gas outlet. The gas-liquid separator is mounted in the separation chamber in the gas flow between the gas inlet and the gas outlet. The separator has a coalescing stage layer and a drain stage layer arranged radially symmetrically about an axis extending through the interior of the separator, the coalescing stage layer being upstream of the drain stage layer. Each of the layers is generally frustoconical in shape.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a device used to purify air and keep cleanly the duct of hot air system or central air exchanger, is made up of a filter having the shape of a cone, which can be installed into the round, square or rectangular duct inlet inhaling air of the indoor from the house, and which a fixing means is adapted to the shape of round, square or rectangular duct inlet.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner having a reduced velocity chamber with a high velocity air inlet, an electric motor, a rotary mechanism driven by the motor for creating a vacuum in the chamber, an outlet for exhausting air from the chamber, which air flows in a selected path from the air inlet, through the chamber and out the air exhaust outlet and a disposable porous sheet filter layer in the chamber for removing large solid particles from the air. The vacuum cleaner also has an improved filter, wherein the improved filter includes a layer of material to remove very fine air particles and a layer of material to remove odors from the air.
Abstract:
In an oil reservoir tank having a tank body and a tank cover, an air/oil separator includes a filter media pack, arranged radially symmetrically about an axis, a bottom end cap secured to one end of the filter media pack, and a top end cap and flange member. The top end cap and flange member is made of a moldable material and has a top end cap portion and a flange portion. The other end of the filter media pack is embedded in top end cap portion. The flange portion extends radially outwardly from the axis for mounting the separator between the tank body and the tank cover. The top end cap and flange member is formed of a sealing material. The top end cap and flange member is a single unitary member forming both flange and the end cap, which eliminates separate flange and trough members which must be welded or brazed together. In addition the flange portion of the top end cap and flange member eliminates the need for additional separate sealing members, such as O-rings.
