Abstract: This invention relates to pump-action nozzle devices and methods of making the same. The dispenser nozzles of the invention comprises a body which defines an internal chamber having an inlet through which fluid may be drawn into said chamber and an outlet through which fluid present in the chamber may be expelled from the nozzle. The inlet comprises an inlet valve and the outlet comprises an outlet valve. Fluid is dispensed from the dispenser nozzles by pulling the trigger handle of a trigger actuator to resiliently deform or displace a portion of the body of the device that defines the chamber, thereby compressing the chamber and actuating the dispensing of fluid. In preferred embodiments, the outlet comprises an outlet passageway that extends from the chamber to an outlet orifice. One or more spray-modifying features are preferably formed within the outlet passageway.

Abstract: A liquid-dispensing device is provided, which is simple in structure, has minimal space requirements, is operative with of a wide range of liquid consistencies, and is adapted for repeatedly dispensing a predetermined liquid volume from a liquid container. The device is particularly useful when contact between the liquid and the atmosphere is to be minimized, for example, when the liquid is a carbonated or naturally effervescent drink, fresh juice, or wines. Similarly, the device is useful when contact between the liquid and a user is to be avoided, for example, when the liquid is harsh or poisonous. The device is formed of common and easily available materials; it is inexpensive to produce and simple to operate. It is adapted for use with existing liquid containers, such as bottles, jerricans, beer kegs, or barrels, and makes pouring an easy task for anyone, and in particular, for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Abstract: The present invention is a metered liquid squeezable dispenser, which includes a squeezable container having an open end and neck for dispensing liquid. A trap chamber base non-rotatably attached to the container and a trap chamber is rotatably attached to the trap chamber base. A dip tube is located in the base and extends into the container. There is an air inlet orifice located on the base. The trap chamber has a dispensing outlet, at least one metered dosage inlet pipe passing through the bottom of the trap chamber, extending upwardly therefrom for a predetermined height, and an air pipe passing through its bottom. The base and trap chamber align with one another for squeeze, metered dose filling, and then rotational realignment for squeeze dispensing.
