    Abstract: A tile system has been devised that includes novel, integral self-aligning and self-spacing features on the side walls of the tiles to provide uniform self-alignment continuously during installation in all directions, both on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Border and corner tiles with similar self-alignment features are shown. The self-alignment features will align the tiles in either a straight-laid or running bond (or brick) pattern. The self-alignment features define regular, parallel gaps between adjacent tiles, without the need for separate spacers, in which waterproof grout is applied. The self-alignment features have application with bonded and non-bonded tiles, driveway/walkway/deck pavers and mortared interior and exterior brick, which can be manufactured in a variety of materials and processes. This Invention pays particular attention to plastic injection molded tiles that are to be bonded to a surface and subsequently grouted.

A decorative layer (3) is disposed above the carrier layer (2). Complementary mechanical locking profiles (8, 9) provided on at least two panel edges (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 11, 12). The locking profiles cooperating in the locked state of two floor panels (1) and counter-acting a moving apart of the floor panels (1). At least one panel edge (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 11, 12) has an edge break-away point (4) at the edge of the decorative layer (3).

    Abstract: The invention relates to a panel including an upper side, an underside, a basic body, complementary locking means, which are provided in pairs on mutually opposite panel edges, and at least one pair of locking means having a receiving hook and an arresting hook. The receiving hook has a hook periphery and a receiving recess. The arresting hook has an arresting recess, an arresting shoulder, a transverse-joint surface and a vertically acting arresting contour. The receiving hook also has a transverse-joint surface and a form-fitting contour. The arresting hook also has a horizontal locking surface on its arresting shoulder. The receiving hook also has a horizontal locking surface in the receiving recess and contains a receiving opening.

    Abstract: Building panels, such as floorboards, provided with a mechanical locking system. The mechanical locking system includes a displacement groove at a first edge of a first floorboard and a tongue groove at a second edge of a second floorboard. A tongue is arranged in the displacement groove and is configured to cooperate, in a second position, with the tongue groove for vertical locking of the first and the second edge. The tongue includes, in a first position, an inner element and an outer element. The inner element is removable along the displacement groove, and is configured to cooperate with the outer element to obtain a displacement of the outer element towards the tongue groove and thereby obtain the second position.
