Abstract:
An opening-side flange may include a connecting surface including an inclined surface, a corner part, and an annular groove on a bottom-face side. A conical surface part of the inclined surface may be a conical surface of a truncated cone, and may be inclined such that a radially outer end thereof approaches an opening side. The corner part may be a corner formed between the inclined surface and the annular groove, and may function as a sealing surface with the liner. The annular groove may be a part that connects the inclined surface to an outer surface part, and may be a part that is hollowed toward the opening side relative to the inclined surface.
Abstract:
A testing system connected to a gas cylinder and includes a pressure detector, a temperature detector, and a controller. The pressure detector is configured to detect a pressure of a stored gas in the gas cylinder. The temperature detector is configured to detect a temperature of the stored gas in the gas cylinder. The controller is configured to calculate variations in the pressure and the temperature of the stored gas and to determine whether a stored state of the stored gas is present within a predetermined range according to the variances in the pressure and the temperature of the stored gas.

The neck section include a connecting device for sealing the hydrogen container including a seal having an interior layer formed of metal and an exterior layer.
Abstract:
A multilayer high pressure cylindrical vessel (1) has an inner metal cylinder (3), the inner surface defining an inner volume of the vessel (1) along the radial direction, an outer metal cylinder (4), and one intermediate cylindrical layer sandwiched in space between the inner cylinder (3) and the outer cylinder (4) has and comprising a number of circular wedge segments (51) separated by gaps (52). To improve the vessel there exists an interference fit between the one intermediate cylindrical layer and the adjoining solid cylinders and said gaps (52) are broken by bridges (522) connecting angularly adjacent circular segments (51) and defining two axially adjacent gap sections (521) so that the cylindrical layer is a single cylindrical element (5), and the circular wedge segments (51) separated by gaps (52) both extend in parallel to each other along the longitudinal axis of the vessel (1).
Abstract:
A device for expelling/containing a predetermined liquid. The device configured to be built into a liquid tank operable at low or zero gravity and comprising a unitary three-dimensional sponge structure. The sponge structure comprises a set of substantially wire-like elements that extend between a peripheral area of the sponge structure and an area for expelling/containing liquid. The wire-like elements are substantially oriented in the direction of flow of the fluid within the device. The wire-like elements are connected together by crosspieces and are arranged such that the capillary gradient is positive or zero in the direction of flow of the fluid from the peripheral area to the area for expelling/containing liquid.
Abstract:
A method is provided for producing a pressure vessel from a metal liner, which is reinforced at an outer lateral surface thereof by fiber composite material having a resin matrix. In at least one production step, the resin matrix of the fiber composite material is subjected to an ultrasound treatment.
Abstract:
A tank-in-tank fill level indicator, making use of noninvasive tank-in-tank measuring techniques. A vibration device, such as an exciter or resonator, vibrates the outer tank at its natural frequency of vibration, thereby inducing the vibration of the inner tank and a beating effect as a result of the interaction of the vibrations of the two tanks. A vibration detection device, such as an accelerometer, detects the resultant beating effect of the two tanks' induced vibrations. A data processing device, such as a microcontroller, processes the detection data to obtain the liquid volume. A display, wired or wireless data transmission device, or combination thereof, is then used to provide tank or container fill-level information.
Abstract:
A hight-pressure composite vessel comprising a casing fabricated through blow-moulding a preform of thermoplastic, a connection pipe fitting. In the connection connection pipe fitting (3) with a retaining collar (7), opposite to a sealing groove (9) designed for an o-ring seal, there is a groove (10) for a seeger to mount a non-detachable collar (11a) of the preform (11) by way of the seeger (10a). A method of manufacturing the high-pressure composite vessel under which the casing of the vessel is fabricated of a perform that is blow-moulded so as to obtain the required dimensions thereof, whereas the preform of a thermoplastic material is fabricated using any technology; and the casing of the vessel is connected with the connection pipe fitting, and the external surface of the vessel re reinforced by a special composite layer. The preform (11) first undergoes a process of controlled crystalization and, then, the ring-shaped groove (11b) is made in the collar (11a) of the preform (11).
Abstract:
A tank formed rack structure comprising at least two modules affixed to each other via bases and a method of reduced weight vertical storage of fuel tanks for use in motor vehicles wherein the fuel tanks form a portion of the rack superstructure.
Abstract:
The present invention includes: a valve main body including a filling port through which a fuel gas is filled in a tank and an output port through which the fuel gas in the tank is output; and a jet flow deflection piece through which the fuel gas to be filled through the filling port is ejected at a predetermined angle relative to an axial direction of the tank. The jet flow deflection piece includes: a fuel ejecting portion including an ejection port through which the fuel gas is ejected into the tank; and a temperature measuring portion in which a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the fuel gas to be filled in the tank is provided. Thus, the temperature of the fuel gas when filling the fuel tank with the fuel gas can be precisely measure and monitored.
