    Abstract: Methods and systems for horizontal federated learning are described. A plurality of sets of local model parameters is obtained. Each set of local model parameters was learned at a respective client. For each given set of local model parameters, collaboration coefficients are computed, representing a similarity between the given set of local model parameters and each other set of local model parameters. Updating of the sets of local model parameters is performed, to obtain sets of updated local model parameters. Each given set of local model parameters is updated using a weighted aggregation of the other sets of local model parameters, where the weighted aggregation is computed using the collaboration coefficients. The sets of updated local model parameters are provided to each respective client.

According to the foregoing method, a waste of computing resources can be effectively reduced.

    Abstract: A cloud platform provides a cloud phone configuration interface for a user to configure a template cloud phone based on a first input of the user. The cloud platform then provides a network shared file configuration interface for the user to store a directory of the template cloud phone into a first network shared file based on a second input of the user, and then configure, based on a third input of the user, at least one to-be-configured cloud phone to mount the first network shared file, to complete installation of a plurality of applications. Therefore, the cloud phone installs, updates, and uninstalls the applications by mounting the network shared file.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a semantically augmented image are disclosed. An embedding is generated for each object label associated with a segmented input image. For each embedding associated with a respective object label, a similarity score is computed between the embedding associated with the object label and an embedding representing an object class in an object bank storing a plurality of object images. At least one object is selected, the selected object being associated with a respective object image in the object bank, the selected at least one object being from an identified object class that is identified as contextually relevant to at least one object label associated with the segmented input image, based at least on the similarity score. The selected object is added into the segmented input image to generate the augmented image.

    Abstract: A method for creating a virtual machine includes: receiving a virtual machine creation request to create a plurality of virtual machines; dividing the plurality of virtual machines into a plurality of virtual machine groups; determining a home physical rack for each virtual machine group, where one virtual machine group corresponds to one home physical rack; and creating each virtual machine group on the home physical rack of each virtual machine group. Because each virtual machine group is created on a home physical rack to which each virtual machine group belongs, each virtual machine group is equivalent to one physical rack.
