    Abstract: A method of associating a mobile station to a base station in a wireless communication system comprises transmitting to a serving base station a scanning request message comprising an association indicator. The method also comprises receiving from the serving base station a scanning response message comprising a rendezvous time associated with a neighboring base station for initiating ranging with the neighboring base station, wherein the serving base station communicates an association notification to the neighboring base station, the association notification comprising the rendezvous time. The method also comprises associating with the neighboring base station by transmitting a ranging request after passing of the rendezvous time determined from a transmission time of the scanning response message from the neighboring base station, wherein the rendezvous time is associated with a time the neighboring base station is expected to provide a non-contention based ranging opportunity for the mobile station.

    Abstract: A power source circuit includes an inductor, a reservoir capacitor, and a switching control part that generates ON/OFF control signals to each of first and second switches. The first switch is connected between a first power voltage terminal and a first node to form a first current path between the first power voltage terminal and the first node in response to a driving signal of the switching control part. The second switch is connected between the first node and a second power voltage terminal to form a second current path between the first node and the second power voltage terminal in response to the driving signal. The inductor is connected to the first node to provide an average voltage between the first power voltage terminal and the second power voltage terminal. The capacitor is connected in parallel with the inductor to store the average voltage.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a large-area nanoscale pattern includes: forming multilayer main thin films isolated by passivation layers; patterning a first main thin film to form a first main pattern; forming a first spacer pattern with respect to the first main pattern; and forming a second main pattern by transferring the first spacer pattern onto a second main thin film. By using multilayer main thin films isolated by different passivation films, spacer lithography capable of reducing a pattern pitch can be repetitively performed, and the pattern pitch is repetitively reduced without shape distortion after formation of micrometer-scale patterns, thereby forming nanometer-scale fine patterns uniformly over a wide area.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an overvoltage repetition prevention circuit, a method thereof, and a power factor correction circuit including the same.
