    Abstract: A bedding or seating product comprises a connector assembly and a stabilizer assembly at each corner of the product for joining perpendicular first and second upholstered trusses. Each stabilizer assembly comprises a first bracket secured to the first truss, a second bracket secured to the second truss and a leg assembly comprising a leg and a threaded rod. One of the first and second brackets has a threaded boss and the other of the first and second brackets has an opening aligned with the threaded boss. The threaded rod extends through the aligned threaded boss and opening of the first and second brackets and the leg abuts the first and second trusses to assist supporting the product above the ground.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs. A quilting machine includes a cutting edge, a looper from which thread is provided to form stitches, and an adjuster assembly. The adjuster assembly extends an adjuster toward the thread between the looper and the retainer. When the adjuster is moved, a predetermined amount of thread is pulled away from the looper by the adjuster to provide a controlled length of thread between the looper and the cutting edge. The looper assembly may also include an air nozzle that urges the thread away from the adjuster after the thread has been cut. The thread passes through a thread tension monitor that monitors tension in the thread. The tension monitor includes a lift arm that selectively disables the tension monitor so that a loss of tension in the sewing head does not shut down the quilting machine.

    Abstract: A seating product is provided which includes a metal frame having four sides, at least two sides each including a plurality of frame holes. The seating product also includes an elastomeric sheet webbing having first and second end loops each including a plurality of end loop holes. The seating product further includes first and second stabilizer rods extending through the first and second end loops, respectively. The seating product also includes a plurality of fasteners having first and second ends, the first ends extending through corresponding end loop holes in one of the first end loop or the second end loop and the second ends extending through corresponding frame holes in the metal frame. At least one of the fasteners contacts the respective stabilizer rod.

    Abstract: A blocker linkage for use in selectively locking a glider-recliner is provided. The glider-recliner is operable to move between closed, TV and full-recline positions. The blocker linkage includes a glide bracket having front and rear glide links pivotably coupled thereto. The rear glide link has a blocker pin coupled to it that extends outwardly. A carrier link is pivotably coupled to the bottoms of the front and rear glide links. A rear blocker cam is pivotably coupled to the carrier link. Similarly, a front blocker cam is also pivotably coupled to the carrier link. The rear blocker cam and the front blocker cam are operably coupled to cooperatively engage the blocker pin on the rear glide link when the glider-recliner is moved from the closed position to the TV and full-recline positions, preventing movement of the rear glide link (and thus the gliding movement supported by the carrier link).

    Abstract: A layered stack is created by placing webs of adhesive on opposite sides of web of cushioning layer and placing outer webs outside the webs of adhesive. An outer surface of a rotating drum is heated by heating oil inside the drum. An endless belt is heated by at least one heater. The layered stack is pulled between the heated endless belt and the heated rotating drum via a motorized drive assembly which rotates the endless belt. Both sides of the layered stack are heated enough to melt each web of adhesive when the layered stack passes between the heated moving endless belt and the heated rotating drum.

    Abstract: An adjustable air bladder apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an outer enclosure, a first interior section within the outer enclosure that contains a plurality of air bladders, a second interior section within the outer enclosure that contains a support layer, and an air pump pneumatically coupled to the plurality of air bladders, where the air pump is configured to selectively supply pressurized air to the air bladders independently through a pneumatic coupling. The pneumatic coupling includes one or more supply valves, outlet valves, and pressure sensors coupled to each air bladder or to one or more groupings of air bladders. A control device is provided for monitoring the pressure within the air bladders and for controlling an amount of air provided to or released from the bladders or groupings of bladders. A method of providing rolling massage with the apparatus is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A reversible adjustable lumbar support and headrest tilt mechanism is provided for installation on a chair. A side bracket is coupled to each side of the back frame, and a back bracket is pivotably coupled to each side bracket. An actuator is pivotably coupled to the back frame that has an extendable and retractable shaft. In a first orientation, with the actuator shaft extending toward the upper end of the back frame, a headrest back insert is couple-able to and between the back brackets, such that extension and retraction of the actuator shaft rotates the headrest back insert. In a second orientation, with the actuator shaft extending toward the lower end of the back frame, a lumbar push bar is couple-able to and between the back brackets, such that extension and retraction of the actuator shaft rotates the lumbar push bar.
