Abstract: An application of an organic porous material in an aerosol generating device, and an atomizer using the material. The organic porous material is, at least in part, a melamine resin porous material. The melamine resin porous material has a decomposition temperature exceeding 400° C., can be used for a long time at a high temperature of 180-240° C. without any change in properties, and thus can cover the operating temperature range of the atomizer. In addition, the material has a high porosity and controllable pore size distribution, can achieve both good liquid guiding and locking performance, and thus is an ideal liquid guiding material for an atomizer. The organic porous material is applied to an atomizer, and has the advantages of quick liquid absorption, high liquid storage capacity, smooth liquid guide, and outstanding liquid locking capability due to a nano-capillary microstructure formed after liquid infiltration.

In the atomization assembly, electronic cigarette liquid atomization is performed on the porous body by means of laser tapping, mechanical perforating, and other approaches. The porous body has larger specific surface area, which enhances the electronic cigarette liquid adsorption and storage capability and improves the amount of smoke and the smoke efficiency.

Abstract: An electronic cigarette includes: an atomizer, defining a liquid storage chamber formed therein; a heating element, communicated with the liquid storage chamber; a power supply, configured for supplying power; a controlling unit, one end of the controlling unit electrically connected with the power supply, the other end thereof electrically connected with the heating element; and a capacitive transducer electrically connected with the controlling unit. Two electrodes are disposed inside the liquid storage chamber for determining an amount of the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber. A using method includes: conducting the electricity and controlling the heating element to atomize the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber; detecting an amount of the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber via the capacitive transducer. When the detected amount of the tobacco liquid reaches a preset value, the electronic cigarette emits alert information or cuts off the electricity.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an atomizer includes an atomizing device and a liquid supply. The atomizing device includes an engaging part. The liquid supply includes a liquid chamber. The liquid supply includes a connecting end and a liquid outlet defined in the connecting end. The engaging part defines a liquid inlet through which tobacco liquid can flow into the atomizing device. The liquid supply further includes a sliding block slidable between a first position and a second position. When the sliding block is in the first position, the sliding block seals the liquid outlet; when the sliding block is in the second position, the liquid outlet is opened. The engaging part is capable of sliding along a predetermined track to form a snap-fit connection with the connecting end, and simultaneously driving the sliding block to move from the first position to the second position.
