Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include fluid chambers that each includes a fluid actuator and an electrode. The fluid actuators may operate at a first voltage level and a monitoring circuitry may operate at a second voltage level that is lower than the first voltage level. The monitoring circuitry may monitor a condition of each fluid chamber based on a selection signal for selecting an electrode associated with a fluid chamber. The monitoring circuitry including an analog multiplexer that includes, for each of the electrodes for the plurality of fluid chambers, a level shifter to receive the selection signal at the second voltage level and to shift a level of the selection signal. The analog multiplexer may also include an analog pass gate to selectively couple the electrode of a respective fluid chamber to the monitoring circuitry based on the level shifted selection signal.

Abstract: In various examples, a fluid ejection die may include an addressing circuit to selectively activate a primitive having a plurality of fluid ejection nozzles in either a first mode or a second mode based on control data received from a fluid ejection system. In the first mode, the addressing circuit may selectively activate, based on the control data, each of the plurality of fluid ejection nozzles during a respective time slice of a first print period. In the second mode, the addressing circuit may selectively activate, based on the control data, each of a plurality of subsets of nozzles of the plurality of fluid ejection nozzles during a respective time slice of a second print period. Moreover, in some examples, the second print period may be a fraction of the first print period.

Abstract: Examples of a fluidic die for thermal zone selection with a circular shift register are described herein. In some examples, the fluidic die includes multiple thermal zones. Each thermal zone includes a temperature sensor and a fluidic actuator. The fluidic die also includes shared thermal control circuitry to process an output of the temperature sensor of a selected thermal zone. The fluidic die further includes a circular shift register that includes multiple memory elements. Each memory element is associated with one thermal zone. A token circulates within the circular shift register to select one thermal zone at a time for processing by the shared thermal control circuitry.

Abstract: In some examples, a fluid dispensing device includes a plurality of fluidic actuators, and a plurality of sense measurement storage elements to store sense measurement indicators for indicating whether sense measurement is to be performed for fluidic actuators of the plurality of fluidic actuators. The fluid dispensing device further includes a controller to control setting of the sense measurement indicators in the sense measurement storage elements to select which fluidic actuator is to be subject to a sense measurement.

Abstract: In some examples, a system includes a device support to receive a fluid dispensing device, and a controller to identify, based on data controlling activation of fluidic actuators, a fluidic actuator that is to be activated in a first activation cycle of a group of activation cycles that correspond to activation intervals of respective fluidic actuators of a group of fluidic actuators of the fluid dispensing device, the identified fluidic actuator being part of the group of fluidic actuators. To perform a sense measurement for the identified fluidic actuator, the controller suppresses activation of the identified fluidic actuator in the first activation cycle, and causes activation of the identified fluidic actuator in a sense measurement cycle different from the first activation cycle, the sense measurement cycle being part of the group of activation cycles.

Abstract: Examples include a fluidic die. The fluidic die may comprise an array of fluid actuators, an actuation data register, a mask register, and actuation logic. The actuation data register may store actuation data that indicates fluid ejectors to actuate for a set of actuation events. The mask register may store mask data that indicates a set of fluid actuators enabled for actuation for a respective actuation event of the set of actuation events. The actuation logic may electrically actuate a subset of the fluid actuators based at least in part on the actuation data register and the mask register for the respective actuation event.

Abstract: In some examples, a print head comprises a plurality of nozzles comprising respective heaters on the print head, each heater of the heaters to be driven by a respective firing pulse to form a bubble in a corresponding nozzle. The print head further comprises a first time repository on the print head to store a first time instant, and a second time repository on the print head to store a second time instant, and a plurality of detect circuits provided onto the print head and coupled to corresponding nozzles of the plurality of nozzles, wherein each respective detect circuit of the plurality of detect circuits is to detect a change in respective impedances for a respective nozzle at the first time instant and the second time instant.

Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating the condition of a print nozzle are described. In one example, impedances across the print nozzle are measured. Subsequently, first test result and second test result are determined and registered at a first predetermined time instant and at a second predetermined time instant, respectively. The first test result and the second test result are obtained based on the measured impedances. Based on the first test result and the second test result, the condition of the print nozzle, is determined.
