Abstract: Approaches are provided for a predictive electrical appliance power-saving management mode. An approach includes ascertaining a location and pace of a mobile device. The approach further includes calculating an amount of time that it will take to enable or start programs and services upon a computing device waking from a sleep mode or hybrid sleep mode. The approach further includes determining a distance threshold to the computing device that allows for the calculated amount of time to pass such that the programs and services are enabled or started prior to a user of the mobile device arriving at the computing device when the user is returning to the computing device at the ascertained pace. The approach further includes sending a signal to awaken the computing device from the sleep mode or hybrid sleep mode when the mobile device is within the distance threshold.

Abstract: A virtual in-venue experience is provided to a remote spectator receiving one or more sets of audio visual (AV) feeds of an event, a set of the feeds including a primary and one or more secondary AV feeds. The secondary AV feed(s) provides supplemental content to the main content provided by the primary AV feed, and includes peripheral field of view audio visual content for the set. The set of feeds may be captured from a respective location within the venue. The primary audio visual feed is displayed for view by the remote spectator, and in association with display of the primary feed, the secondary audio visual feed(s) is displayed in a peripheral field of view of the remote spectator. The secondary AV feed(s) provides the remote user with peripheral AV content at the respective location within the venue, thereby enhancing the in-venue experience for the remote spectator.

Abstract: A method for updating operating parameters of a consumer appliance. Respective operating conditions are received regarding a plurality of consumer appliances that are communicatively coupled to a database. Historical data tracking at least one component in the plurality of consumer appliances based on the operating conditions is generated. A trend, based on the data, as well as a first set of optimal operating parameters for operating the component in a first consumer appliance of the plurality of consumer appliances is determined. The first set of updated operating parameters is transmitted to the first consumer appliance to effect a change in an operation of the component in the first consumer appliance.

Abstract: Aspects create test cases executable by a robot device to simulate user motion activity.
