Abstract: An electronic device and a method thereof, which supports fast wireless charging, are provided. The electronic device includes a wireless power circuit, and one or more processors which are functionally connected with the wireless power circuit, wherein the one or more processors are configured to execute detecting an external electronic device through the wireless power circuit, determining wireless power information corresponding to the external electronic device, determining whether the external electronic device supports a first charging power or a second charging power, at least partially based on the wireless power information, providing the first charging power to the external electronic device through the wireless power circuit, at least partially based on the determination that the external electronic device supports the first charging power, and providing the second charging power to the external electronic device through the wireless power circuit, at least partially based on the determination that the external electronic device supports the second charging power.

Abstract: A three-dimensional semiconductor device includes an electrode structure on a substrate that includes a first region and a second region, the electrode structure including a ground selection electrode, cell electrodes, and a string selection electrode which are sequentially stacked on the substrate wherein the ground selection electrode, the cell electrodes, and the string selection electrode respectively include a ground selection pad, cell pads, and a string selection pad which define a stepped structure in the second region of the substrate, a plurality of dummy pillars penetrating each of the cell pads and a portion of the electrode structure under each of the cell pads, and a cell contact plug electrically connected to each of the cell pads, wherein each of the dummy pillars penetrates a boundary between adjacent cell pads, and wherein the adjacent cell pads share the dummy pillars.

Abstract: Various embodiments related to electronic devices are set forth herein. According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises a coil, a power transmitting circuit electrically connected with the coil, a sensing circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to wirelessly output, using the power transmitting circuit, a first designated power through the coil to an external electronic device, and identify, using the sensing circuit, first energy detected at the coil due to a foreign object of the electronic device. The control circuit is further configured to, when a magnitude of the energy falls within a first designated range, output, using the power transmitting circuit, a second designated power to the external electronic device, and when the magnitude of the energy falls within a second designated range, abstain from outputting the power to the external electronic device using the power transmitting circuit. Other embodiments are possible as well.

For example, an apparatus for controlling a differential signal of a wireless power transmitter may include a converter configured to convert a single signal into differential signals; an amplifier operably coupled to the converter and configured amplify power of the differential signals, thereby providing amplified differential signals; a gauge operably coupled to the amplifier and configured to measure a phase difference and amplitude between the amplified differential signals; and a controller for converting a pulse width of the differential signals by controlling the converter according to measurements by the gauge. Further, various embodiments of the present disclosure also include other embodiments other than the aforementioned embodiments.

When entering a power reduction mode, with respect to a first voltage and a first current being output from the wireless transmission circuit, the first processor includes, in case that the power reception device is in an align state, lower a voltage of the wireless transmission circuit to a second voltage lower than the first voltage and lower a current flowing in the electronic device to a second current lower than the first current, and, in case that the power reception device is in a misalign state, lower a voltage of the electronic device to a third voltage lower than the second voltage and lower a current flowing in the wireless communication circuit to a third current lower than the second current.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a depth image are provided. The apparatus receives an input image, extracts a feature corresponding to the input image, generates features for each depth resolution by decoding the feature using decoders corresponding to different depth resolutions, estimates probability distributions for each depth resolution by progressively refining the features for each depth resolution, and generates a target depth image corresponding to the input image based on a final estimated probability distribution from among the probability distributions for each depth resolution.
