Abstract:
A separating screen has a rectangular body (1) one side of which has a seal for sealing against an abutting side of an adjacent screen or shaker basket. The seal is provided by an elongate sealing strip (9) of resilient material held in place on the side of the body by a retaining strip (5) which can be integrally molded with the body (1) or may be a separately formed component.
Abstract:
A screening machine includes wall members, screen assembly guide members, a screen assembly and a compression assembly. The screen assembly includes a frame with a plurality of side members and a screen supported by the frame. The compression assembly is attached to at least one wall member and forms the screen assembly into a concave shape.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for systems, apparatuses, and methods of securing screen assemblies. Embodiments include a system having a compression assembly with a compression pin and a pin assembly having a pin. The compression assembly may be attached to a first wall member of a vibratory screening machine and the pin assembly may be attached to a second wall member of the vibratory screening machine opposite the first wall member such that the compression assembly is configured to assert a force against a first side portion of a screen assembly and drive a second side portion of the screen assembly against the pin of the pin assembly. The pin assembly may include a pin that is internally or externally mounted and that is adjustable and/or replaceable.

Abstract:
A screen retainer having adjustable tensioning includes a bushing and a tensioning device. The bushing has a center and a thickness that varies radially about the center. The tensioning device includes a surface adapted to receive the bushing, a spring, an engagement member, and at least one screen contact surface. The engagement member is coupled to the tensioning device and is adapted to engage the bushing. The engagement member can be eccentric with respect to the center of the bushing in an installed configuration. The at least one screen contact surface is adapted to engage and place a compressive force on the screen when the spring is placed in compression by an exertion of force by the engagement member on the bushing. The compressive force placed on the screen can be varied based at least in part on a rotation of the bushing on the surface.
Abstract:
A screen frame assembly, including a frame having a first end, a second end, a top surface, a first side disposed between the first end and the second end, and a second side disposed opposite the first side and disposed between the first end and the second end, in which at least one of the first end and the second end is sloped.
Abstract:
An ore screening deck frame system which consists of a machine frame having a machine attachment portion and a panel attachment portion having holes spaced along the length there of and a cover which is adapted to extend parallel to the panel attachment support portion has dependent edge skirts that depend below the surface of the panel attachment support portion and also has dependent tubular bosses spaced to fit in the holes of said panel attachment support portion. The frame is made from an inverted L section steel frame member with the upper flange providing the panel attachment support portion. The cover is molded from polyurethane or rubber and encloses the upper flange. The tubular bosses extend from recesses in the surface of the cover and the recesses incorporate an annular shoulder that corresponds to the top of the tubular bosses. The tubular bosses are adapted to receive fastening pins that extend into the bosses and end below the lower surface of the upper flange.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for separating material, particularly excavated material is presented. The method and apparatus utilize a releasable and interchangeable screen assembly which is positioned on top of a frame having a slanted grate. The screen assembly includes bar members which traverse the top of the screen and inverted hook members attached to a top surface of the bar members to enable an equipment bucket to engage the inverted hook members in order to lift and move the screen assembly.
