    Abstract: A LED light source includes a printed circuit board and a LED illuminator. The printed circuit board is provided with a blocking wall thereon, the blocking wall includes a blocking-wall main portion and a blocking-wall extending portion connected to each other. The blocking-wall main portion surrounds the perimeter of the LED illuminator. The blocking-wall extending portion is extended from a side of the LED illuminator and protruded from the upper surface of the LED illuminator. An edge type backlight module includes a backplane, and a light guide and the LED light source arranged on the backplane. The LED light source is arranged on the side surface of the light guide. The blocking-wall extending portion is arranged at a side of the LED illuminator far away from the backplane. Furthermore, a liquid crystal display device including the edge type backlight module is provided.

    Abstract: Provided is a quantum dot (QD) film for backlight unit, which includes a first protective film, a second protective film, a QD material layer, and a transmission/reflection film. The first and second protective films are disposed in opposite to each other and the QD material layer is interposed between the first and second protective films. The transmission/reflection film is disposed at the side of the second protective film facing away from the first protective film for reflecting a part of an incident light and transmitting the other part of incident light. Also provided is a backlight unit having such QD film and a liquid crystal display for enhancing the utilization of QD material and the brightness of the light emitted from the backlight unit, and preventing the backlight unit from emitting light with blue tone.

    Abstract: A display and a circuit board structure thereof are provided. The circuit board structure includes a first circuit board, a second circuit board and a connection structure. The connection structure is disposed on the first circuit board, the second circuit board has gold fingers, the connection structure has pins corresponding to the gold fingers, and the connection structure conducts the first circuit board and the second circuit board by connecting the pins with the gold fingers. Therefore, an extra FFC and a connector disposed on the second circuit board for connecting the first circuit board and the second circuit board are saved to achieve cost reduction and assembling process simplification.

    Abstract: The invention provides a backlight module. The backlight module has a cavity, a reflecting cover, a light source and an auxiliary light-guiding diffusion structure.     Abstract: A liquid crystal display and a backlight module thereof are provided. The backlight module includes a fixing component, a light source, and a light guide. The light source and the light guide are arranged on the fixing component. The light source further includes a printed circuit board (PCB) and a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) lamps. The surface of the PCB that faces toward the light guide is provided with a plurality of recesses. The plurality of recesses respectively correspond to the plurality of LED lamps.     Abstract: The present invention teaches a backlight module and the LCD device. The backlight module includes a light guide plate and a light source located at a distance to a side of the light guide plate. The light source includes a substrate, multiple LED chips disposed on the substrate, multiple primary lenses disposed on the substrate corresponding to the LED chips, and multiple condenser lenses disposed on the substrate corresponding to the primary lenses. Each primary lens is disposed correspondingly to a LED chip, focuses light from the LED chip, and prevents the light emission face of the LED chip from being higher above the light guide plate, thereby enhancing the light coupling efficiency and reducing leakage of the backlight module. Each condenser lens is disposed correspondingly to a primary lens to further narrow light emission angle of the LED chip, enhancing light utilization efficiency.
