    Abstract: This application provides a code execution method, including: A pre-preparation service module obtains a pre-preparation policy set by a user; the pre-preparation service module downloads, based on the pre-preparation policy, an updated code file included in an updated code version from a code hosting platform to a storage cluster; the pre-preparation service module receives a code execution request, and determines a storage address of code content corresponding to the code execution request in the storage cluster and sends the storage address to an executor; the executor obtains the code content based on the received storage address and t executes the obtained code content. This can avoid a problem of low compilation and building completion efficiency caused by a relatively long time occupied by a download action in the conventional technology.

    Abstract: A storage client needs to store to-be-written data into a distributed storage system, and storage nodes corresponding to a first data unit assigned for the to-be-written data by a management server are only some nodes in a storage node group. When receiving a status of the first data unit returned by the management server, the storage client may determine quantities of data blocks and parity blocks needing to be generated during EC coding on the to-be-written data. The storage client stores the generated data blocks and parity blocks into some storage nodes designated by the management server in a partition where the first data unit is located. Accordingly, dynamic adjustment of an EC redundancy ratio is implemented, and the management server may exclude some nodes in the partition from a storage range of the to-be-written data based on a requirement, thereby reducing a data storage IO amount.

    Abstract: A control node divides a plurality of edge nodes included in an edge node cluster into N edge node sets, where each edge node set includes at least two edge nodes. The control node selects M second edge nodes from a first edge node set, where the first edge node set is one of the N edge node sets. The control node sends a control rule to the M second edge nodes, so that the second edge node performs fault detection on a first edge node according to the control rule. Therefore, when the control node cannot perform fault detection on the first edge node, the second edge node can perform fault detection on the first edge node.

    Abstract: A redundancy method includes that a first disaster management function (DMF) device on a first site side receives a first request including identification information of a first virtual machine (VM) and a recovery point objective (RPO), allocates a maximum allowable delay time to each node that input/output (IO) data of the first VM passes through in a redundancy process, and sends a second request to a second DMF device on a second site side. The second request includes a maximum allowable delay time of a second replication gateway function (RGF) device on the second site side, and a maximum allowable delay time of an IO writer function (IOWF) device on the second site side and requests the second site side to perform redundancy on the first VM. Hence, the RPO requirements of the tenants can be satisfied in an entire redundancy process.

    Abstract: A virtual machine migration method and apparatus are provided, which pertain to the field of computer technologies. The method includes: obtaining a first mapping relationship, pre-stored on a source cloud platform, between a source virtual machine (VM) and a specified user when data in the source VM is migrated to a destination VM; configuring the destination VM and the specified user to form a second mapping relationship according to the obtained first mapping relationship; and storing the second mapping relationship on a destination cloud platform.
