Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for producing 3D sound. The apparatus includes a determination unit, a mono sound spreading unit, a stereo sound spreading unit, a selection unit, and a 3D sound accelerator. The determination unit receives a source sound file and determines whether the source sound file is mono or stereo. The mono sound spreading unit converts the source sound into pseudo-stereo sound and performs sound spreading on the pseudo-stereo sound, if the source sound is determined to be mono. The stereo sound spreading unit performs sound spreading on the source sound, if the source sound is determined to be stereo. The selection unit receives the output of the mono sound spreading unit or stereo sound spreading unit, and transfers the output to headphones if the headphone reproduction has been selected. The 3D sound accelerator receives the output from the selection unit if speaker reproduction has been selected, removes crosstalk from the output, and transfers the crosstalk-free output to speakers.

Abstract: An actuator is prevented from an abrupt descent by supplying a high-pressure hydraulic fluid drained upon the descent of the actuator to a path on a supply side of the actuator, provided is a main spool mounted in a path between a hydraulic pump and the actuator and controlling the drive of the actuator, a poppet mounted in a path between the main spool and the actuator and preventing the actuator from the descent, a spool mounted between a back-pressure and a feedback path of the poppet and communicating the back-pressure chamber with a path at an outlet of the main spool upon switching, and a fluid flow-reducing path communicating the back-pressure with the feedback path upon the switching of the spool and reducing hydraulic fluid drained from the actuator.

Abstract: Disclosed are compositions for skin care and their medicinal uses. The compositions are identical in lipid constituents and structural properties to that of human stratum corneum. They comprise the major constituents for the lipid lamellar of the stratum corneum, including ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids, the major constituents for epidermal cell membranes, including phospholipids, and physiologically active substances, including phytosphingosine and its derivatives. Without causing side effects, the cream composition for skin care is of much better skin penetration and water-retention capacity than are conventional compositions comprised of ceramide and other components in forms different from those of human skin. In addition to providing inhibitory activity against skin microorganisms, the cream composition brings about an improvement in the wrinkle condition of the skin, so that it can be applied to cosmetics. Also, it can be used as a medicinal material for the therapeutic treatment of inflammation, such as thermic erythema caused by IR and/or UV light.
