Abstract:
To provide a yttria sintered body having an excellent corrosion resistance to halogen-based corrosive gases and plasma and an excellent thermal shock resistance, and adapted for use as a component member in manufacturing apparatuses for semiconductor and liquid crystal devices, particularly in a plasma process apparatus. A yttria sintered body including tungsten of an average particle size of 3 μm or less dispersed in the yttria so that a ratio of the tungsten relative to the yttria is ranging from 1 to 50% in terms of weight, and having an open pore rate of 0.2% or less and a thermal shock resistance by water submersion method of 200° C. or larger.
Abstract:
A keyboard apparatus constructed to be capable of reducing the depth size thereof and permitting a key unit to be mounted to a key frame with a simple operation. Hinges are extended downward from rear ends of black key main bodies of a black key unit in the vertical direction, and are connected at their lower ends to a common-to-black-keys base end. The black key main bodies are pivotable via the hinges relative to the common-to-black-keys base end in the key depression/release direction. Similarly, white key main bodies of first and second white key units are pivotable via hinges relative to a common base end in the vertical direction. The key frame is formed at its rear portion with a recessed groove over the entire width of all keys and formed with elastic members extending in the front-to-rear direction on the front and rear sides of the recessed groove. Using elastic deformations of the elastic members, a common-to-all-keys base end of the key unit is fitted and fixed to the recessed groove.
Abstract:
A workpiece picking device and method for reducing the cycle time of a picking operation of workpieces, by omitting or reducing the movement of a robot manipulator when an image of the workpieces is captured. An image processor of the picking device includes a camera controlling part for reading image data from a camera, a memory for storing the image data, a workpiece detecting part for extracting one or more images from the memory and detecting one or more workpieces in the image, and a workpiece selecting part for selecting a workpiece to be picked among the workpieces detected by the workpiece detecting part. The image processor further includes a stacked condition judging part for determining whether the condition of the stacked workpieces in a container is changed.
Abstract:
An input unit accepts a fingerprint image of a user. A pre-extraction and categorization unit generates pre-extracted data from the fingerprint image and uses the data to categorize the input fingerprint image into one of multiple groups. A feature extraction unit extracts fingerprint feature data from the fingerprint image by processing methods defined for the respective groups. A feature data matching processing unit matches the fingerprint feature data against fingerprint authentication data registered in a fingerprint authentication database by processing methods defined for the respective groups. An integrated authentication unit authenticates a user with the input fingerprint image based upon a result of matching.
Abstract:
A deodorant composition, which comprises a pyrone compound given by formula: wherein R represents a C3-C10 acyclic hydrocarbyl group, as an active ingredient, is very effective for removing bad smell.
Abstract:
A user goal extracting unit extracts a user goal from an input statement 10 entered by a user. A system goal determining unit 15 determines a system goal in accordance with the user goal. A goal frame generating unit 17 generates a goal frame based on an action sequence knowledge corresponding to the system goal. An action feasibility judging unit 19 sets arguments for, and judges the feasibility of, an action in the goal frame. If the action is judged to be feasible, the action feasibility judging unit 19 outputs an action command to an external application 20. If the action is not judged to be feasible, the action feasibility judging unit 19 outputs a new system goal to the goal frame generating unit 17. The external application 20 outputs a result of execution of the action.
Abstract:
A keyboard switch apparatus for an electronic musical instrument has first, second and third layers, and first and second switches. The second layer has elasticity and is separated from the first layer. The third layer has elasticity and is inserted between the first and second layers at a distance therefrom. The first switch consists of conductors respectively formed on opposite surfaces of the second and third layers. The second switch consists of conductors respectively formed on opposite surfaces of the first and third layers. The second and third layers are sequentially urged and deformed by an actuator interlocked with key depression. The first and second switches are sequentially closed. A time requred for closing the first switch is different from that for closing the second switch. The closure time difference corresponds to a key depression speed, which is used to generate a signal corresponding to the depression speed, and a musical tone signal corresponding to the depression speed.
Abstract:
A navigation apparatus, method or program extracts only a guide expression a talker such as a fellow passenger says to a driver, and outputs a presentation content which corresponds to the guide expression. Accordingly, the driver can understand the content intuitively. This makes it possible to prevent the misunderstanding of the driver and to prevent a vehicle from going in the direction the talker does not intend.
Abstract:
A control section generates a quasi-sine wave with a plurality of gradation voltages including power supply voltages from DC power supplies with different voltages and one or more potential differences between two of the power supply voltages. Specifically, the control section generates the quasi-sine wave by, in a time range where a sine wave voltage is at two gradation voltages, generating a PWM signal with one gradation voltage set at a low level and the other gradation voltage set at a high level. The timing for switching the PWM signal is determined using an intersection between a sine wave and a triangular wave in the time range where the sine wave voltage is at two gradation voltages, where the triangular wave is generated with one gradation voltage set at a low level and the other gradation voltage set at a high level.
Abstract:
A slurry for a positive electrode for a sulfide-based solid-state battery contains at least a fluorine-based copolymer containing vinylidene fluoride monomer units, a positive electrode active material, and a solvent or a dispersion medium. When a dry volume of the slurry is set to 100% by volume, a content ratio of the fluorine-based copolymer is 1.5 to 10% by volume.
