Abstract:
A mobile terminal disclosed herein includes a terminal body that is configured to be deformable by an external force, a deformation sensor that is configured to sense a folded state and an unfolded state of the terminal body, a display unit that is mounted to the terminal body and configured to output screen information in the unfolded state, a touch sensor that is located on a folding edge area of the terminal body which is deformed upon conversion into the folded state, and configured to sense a user's touch input, and a controller that is configured to control the display unit to output divided screen information when the unfolded state is converted into the folded state after the touch input applied along the folding edge area is sensed in the folded state.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a portable device having a flexible display unit and a control method for the same. The device provides a dimming mode for dimming the display unit when lack of user input for a preset dimming time is sensed. The dimming mode includes a first dimming mode having a first dimming time and a second dimming mode having a second dimming time. The display unit has a first state before the display unit is expanded, and a second state after the display unit is expanded. A processor of the device converts the device from the first dimming mode to the second dimming mode when the display unit is retracted from the second state to the first state, reverts the device into the first dimming mode when preset user input is sensed, and performs dimming of the display unit when lack of the preset user input is sensed.
Abstract:
Discussed are a digital device and a control method thereof. The digital device includes a communication unit configured to transmit/receive a signal with an external device; a gesture sensor unit configured to sense a gesture with respect to the digital device; and a processor configured to control the communication unit and the gesture sensor unit, wherein the processor is further configured to: provide a first mode corresponding to a first event when occurrence of the first event is detected; transmit a first signal, commanding provision of a second mode corresponding to a second event, to the external device when occurrence of the second event is detected during provision of the first mode; and switch from the first mode to the second mode when detecting a first gesture with respect to the digital device after transmission of the first signal.
Abstract:
A foldable display device and method for controlling the foldable display device are discussed. The method includes detecting a state of a foldable display unit, being in a folded state when the device is folded and being in an unfolded state when the device is unfolded, the foldable display unit being divided into first, second and third areas; deactivating touch sensor units of the first and second areas and activating a touch sensor unit of the third area, if the foldable display unit is in the folded state, or deactivating the touch sensor unit of the first area and activating the touch sensor units of the second and third area, if the foldable display unit is in the unfolded state; and changing a width of the second area in proportion to a gripped area by a user.
Abstract:
The present specification relates to a head mounted display (HMD) and a method of controlling therefor, and more particularly, to a method of updating information displayed in the HMD by recognizing opening and closing of eyes of a user wearing the HMD.
Abstract:
A digital device including a display unit; a sensor unit; a display unit; a wireless communication unit to be paired with an external device; and a controller configured to receive a message, transmit information of the received message to the external device paired with the digital device, and display detailed information of the received message in response to detection of a predetermined motion using the sensor unit within a predetermined period of time while the digital device is paired with the external device.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a terminal apparatus, a system comprising the terminal apparatus, and a method for controlling the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus comprises: an input unit for receiving 3D scanning information of an object; a display unit for displaying the 3D scanning information; and a control unit for detecting a defective part from the 3S scanning information, wherein if a defective part is detected, the control unit activates a repair mode, generates a repair part corresponding to the defective part on the basis of the 3D scanning information, and wherein the repair part is divided into a coupling area and a non-coupling area, and if a predetermined condition is satisfied, a separable protrusion can be formed in the non-coupling area.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a digital device according to one embodiment of the present specification may comprise the steps of: detecting a first control input for executing a first operation which is associated with a first configuration value and which is executable by utilizing a main device; transmitting, to the main device, a first triggering signal for executing the first operation on the basis of the first control input; detecting a second control input for executing a first operation which is associated with a second configuration value and which is not executable by utilizing the main device alone; detecting a cooperative device associated with the first operation; and providing a notification for the cooperative device.
Abstract:
The foldable display device includes a display unit having first and second display regions separated spatially or visually by being folded; a folding sensor unit for outputting a status signal regarding the degree to which the display unit is folded; and a control unit. The control unit executes a first mode in which the entire screen displayed on the display unit in a fully open state is controlled, and a second mode in which, when the state changes from the fully open state to an intermediately folded state, the screen of the display region in which the touch of a user is sensed is controlled from among the first and second display regions.
