    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for Reference Signal (RS) transmission. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, the network device determines at least one set of CSI-RS resources for transmitting Tracking Reference Signal (TRS) to a terminal device. The network device further determines a first offset between a first slot to transmit a first signal for enabling transmission of the TRS and a second slot to transmit the TRS in the at least one set of CSI-RS resources. The first offset is different from a second offset between a third slot to transmit a second signal for enabling transmission of CSI-RS and a fourth slot to transmit the CSI-RS. The network device transmits a configuration indicating the at least one set of CSI-RS resources and the first offset to the terminal device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting uplink (UL) information and a method and apparatus of receiving UL information. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting
    UL information comprises transmitting a reference signal using a first sequence; and transmitting UL control information using a second sequence; wherein a reference signal and the UL control information are staggered-multiplexed in frequency domain. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the uplink information can be transmitted in reduced uplink symbols so as to adapt for a proposed subframe structure with reduced uplink symbols and thus, the transmission latency can be reduced greatly.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting a reference signal and a method and apparatus of receiving a reference signal. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting a reference comprises receiving a reference signal configuration indication, wherein reference signal resources are divided into at least two reference signal groups, and the reference signal configuration indication indicates a reference signal configuration including a reference signal group configuration; and transmitting the reference signal using a reference signal sequence in a reference signal group as indicated by the reference signal group configuration, wherein the reference signal sequence can be multiplexed with another layer or another user in different reference signal groups. With embodiments of the present disclosure, reference signals for different layers or users can be multiplexed in different reference signal groups and thus, more mu-users with unequal allocated bandwidths can be supported without significant channel estimation loss and Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) loss.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for reference signal transmission and receiving in a wireless communication system A common reference signal sequence is generated based on a frequency range configuration at network side, the common reference signal sequence being shared by at least some of terminal devices respectively allocated with their own reference signal transmission configurations. The common reference signal sequence and sequence configuration information is transmitted to a terminal device, the sequence configuration information indicating a parameter by which a reference signal sequence transmitted for the terminal device can be obtained. With embodiments of the present disclosure, a reference signal sequence solution with a low complexity is proposed for the wireless communication system (especially for new radio access system) with dynamic bandwidth allocation and/or configurable reference signal pattern, wherein only one common reference signal sequence is generated and shared by at least some of terminal devices, irrespective of reference signal transmission configurations like bandwidth allocation and/or reference signal pattern configuration.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for determining HARQ timing in a communication system supporting Carrier Aggregation (CA) are provided. A method for receiving, at a BS, a HARQ feedback from a UE in a communication system supporting CA of a Pcell and at least one Scell is provided. The Pcell and Scell support either FDD or TDD. The method includes: transmitting a downlink physical channel through one of the Pcell and Scell; receiving the HARQ feedback corresponding to the downlink physical channel of the Pcell at a first timing predetermined for the Pcell; and receiving the HARQ feedback corresponding to the downlink physical channel of the Scell at a second timing. The terminal device is connected to both a first wireless communication system and a second wireless communication system. Uplink transmission power for respective power adjustment zones within a subframe in the first wireless communication system can be determined based on a type of transmission within corresponding parts of a related subframe in the second wireless communication system. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the uplink transmission power can be determined based on the type of transmission in the second wireless communication systems, transmission power can be used in an efficient way and thus power efficiency can be improved.

With embodiments of the present disclosure, it may indicate the information on synchronization signal transmission information by means of the signal transmission mode. Thus, especially for an initial access process, it can provide a common frame for both single beam based deployment and multi-beam based deployment.
