Abstract:
The present invention presents embodiments of methods, systems, and computer-readable media for the retrieval, mining, filtering and visualization of information stored on a plural of computers connected to the Internet and on a local computer. Embodiments of this invention generate a conceptual search query using a description provided by a user, perform user selectable conceptual filtering of search results, concept following and link following to expand search results, search for files that may or may not contain certain information, rank concepts contained in search results or one or more files, compute relevancy rank of a file in search results, use conceptual path maps to display logic or statistical relationships among search results, monitor changes in information in a search or a file, and protect files or searches based on information contents.
Abstract:
A mobile device such as a personal digital assistant (“PDA”) includes a Universal Serial Bus (“USB”) connector in an expansion module bay. An expansion module for the mobile device includes a USB connector that mates with the connector in the expansion module bay. The expansion module may be plugged directly into the expansion bay of the mobile device, or it may be connected (via an adapter) to another device having a standard USB downstream connector.
Abstract:
Wireless communication networks utilize various communication protocols to exchange data between wireless network devices. Overlapping communication frequencies between data exchange protocols present a collision and interference problem when data transmissions are transmitted using similar timing and frequency characteristics during wireless transit. A device and various network configurations for monitoring, moderating, and/or coordinating wireless transmission traffic in a wireless communication network where overlapping communication frequencies coexist is described to significantly reduce or avoid interference caused by signal collisions.
Abstract:
The present invention presents embodiments of methods, systems, and computer-readable media for advanced computer file organization, computer file and web search and information retrieval, and intelligent assistant agent to assist a user's creative activities. The embodiments presented herein categorize search results based on the keywords used in the search, provide user selectable ranking, use user's search objectives and advices to refine search, conduct search within an application program and using a file based, provide always-on search that monitors changes over a period of time, provide a high level file system that organizes files into categories, according to relations among files, and in ranking orders along multiple categorization and ranking dimensions and multiple levels of conceptual relationships, conduct searches for associations between keywords, concepts, and propositions, and provide validations of such associations to assist a user's creative activity.
Abstract:
A USB host controller for embedded systems employing batched data transfer. The system batches up to 16 individual transactions in a single batch to reduce the number and frequency of interrupts to the microprocessor and to increase USB data throughput.
Abstract:
This invention discloses methods to enhance Physical Layer (PHY) processing in a radio access network between a Base Station (BS) and one or more User Equipment (UEs), including enhanced Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) management, transmitting path processing to reduce transfer bandwidth between an offload processor and a CPU, and offload processing to reduce HARQ latency.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus for targeting and disrupting, deactivating or destroying microorganisms (e.g. viruses, bacteria, fungus or diseased cells). The apparatus includes Field-Electric Nano-Particles coated, conjugated or functionalized with one or more guiding agents such as antibodies or proteins that target a type of bacteria, fungus, virus or diseased cells; a delivery module to deliver such nanoparticles into a subject's body, and an external energy field generation module. The nanoparticles, when subject to the applied external energy field, generate an electric field or pulses of electric field localized to the targeted bacteria, fungus or virus to disrupt, deactivate or destroy the targeted bacteria, fungus, viruses, or diseased cells.
Abstract:
This invention presents methods for targeting and killing types of cells or organisms using Magneto-Electric Nano-Particles under the control of an external magnetic field. A method was also presented for using Magneto-Electric Nano-Particles to stimulate or rejuvenate cells under an external magnetic field.

Abstract:
This invention presents embodiments of a coupler array to couple the RF signals between the antenna array of a MIMO base station and a MIMO RF channel emulator. The embodiments enable testing of a large scale MIMO wireless communication system without the need of connecting a large number of RF cables to the antenna ports of the MIMO base station.
