Abstract:
Aspects described herein relate to managing coexistence of multiple radio access technology (RAT) components in a device. Information related to an upcoming time period can be sent to a first radio access technology (RAT) component from a second RAT component. The first RAT component can select a resource to transmit a first RAT packet to minimize collision with the upcoming time period of the second RAT.
Abstract:
Aspects described herein relate to transmitting a direct link synchronization signal for wireless communications. A user equipment (UE) may determine a synchronization signal priority level. The UE may determine a number of resources in a synchronization signal period on which to transmit a direct link synchronization signal block from the UE based on the synchronization signal priority level. The UE may transmit the direct link synchronization signal block on the number of resources.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for vehicle emergency vehicle-to-anything (V2X) notification based on sensor fusion are presented. In some embodiments, a vehicle may receive an indication of an issue or impairment of the vehicle or an occupant of the vehicle, including the driver. Using information from sensors within the vehicle, an on-board processor may determine the nature of the impairment. Information about the nature of the impairment may then be transmitted, using V2X notification, to neighboring vehicles and/or an infrastructure entity (e.g., a base station, a roadside unit, a radio tower, and/or a central application server). The neighboring vehicles may then negotiate using V2X communication with the impaired vehicle and the other neighboring vehicles and/or be directed by the infrastructure entity to proceed using a negotiated course of action that accounts for the nature of the impairment in the impaired vehicle.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a first transmission, wherein the first transmission includes information identifying a window, and wherein the UE is to transmit at least part of a second transmission in the window; and transmit at least part of the second transmission in the window. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure provide synchronization techniques for user equipment (UEs) that may be otherwise unable to support sidelink communication a synchronized UE and may have also lost global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and/or Evolved Node Base Stations (eNBs) as a synchronization source. In such instance, the unsynchronized UE may utilize reference signals (RS) from the data packets received from other UEs to track the timing and perform autonomous timing adjustments based thereon for synchronized packet transmission or reception.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus is configured to determine a power control command including a target receiver power level for uplink transmission. The apparatus is configured to transmit a frame to a wireless device. The frame may include information associated with the determined target receiver power level for uplink transmission from the wireless device and a transmit power level at which the frame is to be transmitted. The information may enable the wireless device to compute a transmit power for the uplink transmission. The frame may include power control commands for other wireless devices.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses relating to wireless communication of a user equipment (UE) are provided including receiving downlink wireless communications from multiple cells in an active set, receiving at least one of scheduling information for one or more downlink transmissions or one or more non-serving resource grants from a first cell in the active set, and receiving one or more serving resource grants for uplink communications from a second cell in the active set. In the wireless network, a second cell can be assigned as an uplink serving cell for uplink communications with the UE that is different from a first cell assigned as a downlink serving cell for downlink communications with the UE, and downlink transmissions can be scheduled from the downlink serving cell to the UE, and/or one or more serving resource grants can be transmitted from the uplink serving cell to the UE.
