    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing a common channel sensing procedure for transmissions via a mobile termination (MT) role or via a distributed unit (DU) role of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, or both. In one aspect, the IAB node may obtain channel access for transmissions via the MT role or the DU role, or both, using the same channel sensing procedure. The IAB node may select a timing of a sensing slot for the common channel sensing procedure in accordance with a capability of the IAB node and a timing of the transmissions. The IAB node may initiate a channel occupancy time (COT) for the transmissions via the MT role or the DU role, or both, as a result of determining that a measured energy detection (ED) value satisfies an ED threshold.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A child node may communicate in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) communications system with a parent node and the parent node may transmit system information to the child node that may indicate one or more random access channel (RACH) procedure configurations such as a user equipment (UE)-specific RACH procedure configuration and a wireless backhaul-specific (e.g., TAB-specific) RACH procedure configuration. The child node may be configured to utilize the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration or the TAB-specific RACH procedure configuration such as if the child node meets one or more conditions or upon receiving an indication from the parent node. The child node may determine to use the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration for communicating with the parent node and may perform a RACH procedure with the parent node in accordance with the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support delaying the application of reconfiguration messages. An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node transmit or receive, along a first signaling path, a reconfiguration message indicating the first IAB node to postpone applying a reconfiguration message until a second signaling path becomes available. The first IAB node may send a reconfiguration complete message to a first IAB donor node along the first path and wait to perform a procedure with the first IAB donor node. When the second path becomes available, the first IAB node and the second IAB node may then perform the procedure. In some cases, delaying the reconfiguration may involve postponing the forwarding of messages received at the first IAB node.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to coordinate information across a wireless network. One or more access nodes of a wireless network may configure a time resource container for receiving, amplifying, and forwarding a signal, such as a notification signal, in an operating mode. A notification signal may include an indication of coordination information and may be transmitted or received in the time resource container, such as in a first subset of a set of time resources of the time resource container. An access node may first receive a signal from a second access node, amplify and forward the signal in the time resource container to a third access node, and then decode the received signal and determine whether the signal includes coordination information for the access node. If the signal includes coordination information for the access node, the access node may perform one or more actions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a first wireless node in a wireless communications system are described. The techniques may enable a first wireless node (e.g., an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node in an IAB system) to establish a communications link with a second wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, via a reception beam of the first wireless node, an interfering signal from an aggressor wireless node. The first wireless node may perform an interference measurement of the interfering signal at the first reception beam. The first wireless node may transmit a report indicating the interference measurement to the second wireless node. The second wireless node may schedule communications based on the interference measurement. In some examples, the report may indicate one or more parameters of the interfering signal. In some examples, the report may correspond to one or more beams.
