Abstract: An effective approach for a user equipment (UE) to perform a sidelink communication with another UE in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode is disclosed. For example, a UE may determine a direct frame number (DFN) timing, and configure a sidelink DRX mode using one or more sidelink DRX parameters based on the DFN timing. The UE may perform a sidelink communication with a second UE during an on-duration of a sidelink DRX cycle in the sidelink DRX mode according to the one or more sidelink DRX parameters.

In some aspects, a transmit user equipment (UE) may determine that a channel busy ratio satisfies a channel busy ratio threshold. The transmit UE may reserve, based at least in part on determining that the channel busy ratio satisfies the channel busy ratio threshold, a resource for transmission of a packet with a particular priority to the receive UE, wherein the resource is in a set of resources outside of a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) on duration of a receive UE. The transmit UE may transmit the packet using the resource based at least in part on reserving the resource.

Abstract: Several features pertain to computing systems equipped to perform speculative processing and configured to access device memory (e.g. non-speculative or unspeculatable memory) and non-device memory (e.g. speculative or speculatable memory). Malicious attacks may seek to obtain sensitive information from such systems by exploiting speculative code execution. Herein, techniques are described whereby sensitive data is protected from such attacks by placing the data in a page of memory not ordinarily used as device memory, and then designating or marking the page as device memory (e.g. marking the page as unspeculatable). By designating the page as unspeculatable device memory, the processor does not speculatively access the sensitive information (e.g. speculation stops once a branch is invoked that would access the page) and so certain types of attacks can be mitigated. In some examples, additional malicious attack defenses or mitigations are performed such as address space un-mapping, address space layout randomization, or anti-replay-protection.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE), such as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (e.g., a source UAV), may initiate a unicast link establishment procedure with another UAV (e.g., a target UAV), which may enable the UAVs to communicate according to an air-to-everything (A2X) service type. The source UAV may transmit a direct communication request (DCR) message to the target UAV that includes an application-layer identifier (ID) that is unique to the target UAV. The source UAV may derive the application-layer ID for the target UAV from a UE-specific ID that is unique to the target UAV. Alternatively, the source UAV may transmit a DCR message that excludes target UAV information. Instead, the DCR message may indicate one or more proximity parameters associated with the source UAV. The UAVs may communicate unicast messages via the unicast link according to A2X configurations and communication parameters.
