A diamine compound represented by general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R is as defined in the specification a group of formula (II) ##STR2## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 as defined in the specification or a group of formula (III) ##STR3## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 have the same meanings as defined above, and Z is as defined in the specification, or --SO.sub.2 --. The diamine compound is produced by reducing a dinitro compound of general formula (IV) ##STR4## wherein R has the same meaning as defined above. Imidation of the diamine compound with a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride produces a polyamideimide resin having a repeating unit represented by general formula (V): ##STR5## wherein Ar and Ar.sup.1, which are as defined in the specification R.sup.3 is a group of general formula (VI) below: ##STR6## where R has the same meaning as defined above; R.sup.4 is as defined in the specification and m and n are each zero or a positive integer which satisfy m.gtoreq.2n.
Abstract:
A display system for a camera which can make a display of a focal length of the camera on an existing display device for display of a photographing frame count of a film without provision of an additional display device and without increasing the number of display segments of the existing display device. The display system comprises a display means, a first display control means for controlling the display means to display a frame count of a film, a taking lens having a variable focal length, a detecting means for detecting a focal length of the taking lens, a second display control means for controlling the display means to display the focal length of the taking lens detected by the detecting means, and a changing means for alternatively rendering the first or second display control means effective. The display means thus normally displays a current frame count of a film in the camera but displays a current focal length of the taking lens, for example, when the focal length of the taking lens is being varied.
Abstract:
A light-weight zoom lens system manufacturable at a low cost comprising, in the order from the object side, a first lens unit having positive refractive power, a second lens unit having negative refractive power, a third lens unit having positive refractive power and a fourth lens unit having positive refractive power, and adapted in such a manner that said first lens unit and said fourth lens unit are fixed at the zooming time, whereas said second lens unit and said third lens unit are shifted along the optical axis while varying the airspace reserved therebetween. Said second lens unit comprises one or two lens elements and said third lens unit comprises a single lens element, whereby said zoom lens system comprises a small number of lens elements.
Abstract:
A process for extruding a synthetic resin while restricting the resin flow by positively furnishing the resin flow path surface of an extruding die near its resin flow outlet with frictional resistance relative to the resin disclosed also is an extruding die for practicing the above-described method.
Abstract:
Apparatus for guiding a cooling air flow for an engine of a motorized two-wheeled vehicle having a vehicle body provided with an internal combustion engine and a blower for forcibly cooling the engine, the apparatus comprising a guide plate mounted behind the blower so that warm air obtained after cooling can be guided by the plate to the outside of the vehicle body. When the engine is water-cooled it is provided with a radiator at the front thereof and the blower is positioned between the radiator and the engine. The guide plate is positioned between the blower and the engine.
Abstract:
According to a compressor of the present invention, the compressor further comprises an oil separating mechanism 40 which separates oil from the refrigerant gas discharged from the compressing mechanism 10, the oil separating mechanism 40 includes a cylindrical space 41 in which the refrigerant gas orbits, an inflow portion 42 for flowing the refrigerant gas discharged from the compressing mechanism 10 into the cylindrical space 41, a sending-out port 43 for sending out, from the cylindrical space 41 to the one container space 32, the refrigerant gas from which the oil is separated, and an exhaust port 44 for discharging the separated oil and a portion of the refrigerant gas from the cylindrical space 41, and a center of the sending-out port 43 is deviated in a direction opposite from the inflow portion 42 from a center axis of the cylindrical space 41.
Abstract:
A signal containing a frequency-domain channel estimation value is received and a time-domain channel estimation value is computed by way of DFT computations. An Mth DFT computation, with which the DFT computation begins, is determined according to the number of data, having been not replaced with ‘0’, out of the N pieces of data constituting the frequency-domain channel estimation value. A twiddle factor is generated for computing a datum to be input into the Mth DFT computation. A datum is generated to be input into the Mth DFT computation, by using the frequency-domain channel estimation value and the twiddle factor. The time-domain channel estimation value is computed by performing DFT computations in a range from the Mth DFT computation to the Pth DFT computation, where P=log2 N and N is the number of data consisting the frequency-domain channel estimation value.
