Abstract:
Conveyor for light goods, and connection piece for beam sides of a conveyor. The conveyor has a first supporting guide arrangement (10) for controlling the conveyor chain (11) in an operational direction, a second guide arrangement (17) for controlling the conveyor chain in the return direction, and a deflector wheel arrangement (20) (FIG. 3) at both ends of the first and second guide arrangements. The first guide arrangement (10 ) is made up of beam sides (10a, 10b) which between them form a space which narrows in the direction towards the second guide arrangement (17). A two-part connection piece (12) which has a wedge-shaped element (12a) fixes the position of the beam sides by means of a wedging effect between the wedge-shaped-element of the connection piece and a complementary recess in the second element (12b) of the connection piece. A tensioning bolt (13) inserted at right angles between the plane of the conveyor chain of the guide arrangements generates said wedging effect. Between the beam sides (10a, 10b) there is a drainage gap (15), and the underside of the conveyor chain is protected against contamination by the base part of the second guide arrangement (17) shaped as a U-beam.
Abstract:
A modular conveyor belt having rollers for minimizing damage to the belt when transferring high friction products. The rollers are supported by easily assembled cradles that are supported between adjacent belt modules. In one embodiment, the cradles include a first part and a second part. The first part has a first hinge member and a first shaft extending from the first hinge member. The first shaft has a hollow portion opening at a first shaft distal end. The second part has a second hinge member and a second shaft extending from the second hinge member. The second shaft has a second shaft distal end received in the hollow portion of the first shaft through the first shaft distal end. In another embodiment, the roller supported by one of the cradles extends into a concave portion of an adjacent module.
Abstract:
Disclosed are conveyors and methods for making the conveyors. In one embodiment, a conveyor comprises a modular conveyor belt that includes a plurality of mat-top chains having a plurality of cavities and a plurality of first rollers disposed in the cavities of the mat-top chains. The conveyor further includes at least one second roller that operatively couples to the first rollers such that the first rollers rotate as the conveyor belt travels along the second roller. The invention can also be construed as providing the method for conveying objects. The method can comprise the steps of driving a modular conveyor belt in a direction of belt travel; rotating a plurality of first rollers disposed into the modular conveyor belt in a manner in which slippage of the first rollers is reduced; and conveying objects on the modular conveyor belt using the rotating first rollers.
Abstract:
Conveyor chains of the type utilized in commercial ovens and proofers are provided with improved bearing support for the rotating and pivoting components of the chains. The rotating components comprising anti-friction bearings constructed from superior components which support substantial improvements in the service life of the conveyor chains. The pivoting components are provided with plain bearings and/or anti-friction coating which also function to extend the service life of the conveyor chains.
Abstract:
A conveyance apparatus of the present invention holds and conveys a group of items, and includes conveyors and driving devices. The conveyors include first and second conveyance belts, items-group holders, and detaching/attaching devices. The first and second conveyance belts operate around a circulating path. The detaching/attaching devices support the items-group holders, which include a plurality of partition members that partitions and holds the group of items. The plurality of partition members are connected to one another. The detaching/attaching devices render the items-group holders detachable from and attachable to the first and second conveyor belts. In this manner, replacement of the plurality of partition members can be performed easily and quickly.
Abstract:
A device for loading firing, sintering or drying material onto and unloading it from the shelving frame of a furnace wagon is disclosed herein as having a first lifting device (3) that includes a shifting cradle (45), and a second lifting device (2) disposed at a distance from the first lifting device so that a shelving frame (8) is accommodated between the two lifting devices. The second lifting device includes a lifting cradle (15) capable of travel in the vertical direction, and a conveyer system carried by the lifting cradle. Further, the device includes an interlocking apparatus (33) for coupling the shifting cradle in an extended position to the lifting cradle (15) of the second lifting device (2). When coupled using the interlocking apparatus, the vertical movements of the two lifting cradles are synchronized.
Abstract:
A declined conveyor for conveying articles in a downstream direction, which is parallel to a longitudinal direction, has one or more controlled conveyor sections interposed between gravity conveyors. Each controlled conveyor includes a plurality of driven rollers which are driven by a drive member disposed generally parallel to the longitudinal direction, and is operatively connected to a plurality of the driven rollers through O belts.
Abstract:
A conveyor system for moving articles, such as microtiter plates and the like, includes an endless belt with dividing ribs spaced to accommodate and position the plates to be moved. The belt is driven by a reversible servo motor. The system comprises removable workstations associated with the belt.
Abstract:
The device (D) for removable fastening of seats (3) housing containers (C) to a metallic belt (1) includes first fastening means (10) made on the metallic belt (1) and aimed at being mutually coupled with second fastening means (34), made in the lower part of the seats (3) to position and lock the seats (3) to the belt (1). The device includes also supporting and sliding guides (4,5), facing each other and situated below and substantially orthogonal to eh metallic belt (1). The guides (4,5) are operated by operating means, between a first gripping configuration (P), in which they are vertical and constitute an abutment for the second fastening means (34), so as to define a fastening between the metallic belt (1) and the seats (3) for housing containers (C), and a second release configuration (R), in which at least one of the guides (4,5) is moved away from the second fastening means (34), so as to allow the seats (3) to be removed from the metallic belt (1).
Abstract:
There is provided a conveyor chain for use in a three-dimensional conveyor line, in which a plurality of chain links each with a top plate provided on a link body thereof are connected endlessly to each other by shaft pins for three-dimensional conveyance of products, a projecting head portion of a rearward one of two adjacent chain links is disposed between a pair of leg portions of a frontward adjacent link, a shaft pin is penetrated through the projecting head portion so that the rearward chain link can freely be pivoted vertically and horizontally about the shaft pin, the top plate includes a front plate portion and rear plate portion, each portion formed defining its boundary as a semicircular line whose center is laid nearly at the center of the projecting head portion, the rear plate portion is integral with the rear upper portion of the link body while the front plate portion is disposed on the front upper portion of the link body, a bearing block is received in a bearing space, the bearing block is engaged on the shaft pin so that the rear plate portion can be pivoted horizontally in relation to the front plate portion. Since there takes place no gap between the front edge of the rear plate portion and rear edge of the front plate portion, the conveyor chain thus constructed can convey products more stably without thrust-up, stalling or overturn of them.
